Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
On Saturday July 5th my daughter went to the show at Lakeshore . She had suffered a stroke and has congestive heart on April 28th/ She went to the washroom and came out to tell one of the staff there that she was not feeling well. They took such great care of her and asked if she was there with someone. They ran into the other show to get her boyfriends parents and sprung into action. They called any ambulance and took care of her as if no else was there. I want to say Thank You to the Manager and the staff for your OUTSTANDING care. To the Ambulance drivers Thank You for allowing her boyfriends Mom to drive so she wasn't alone. To Andre the nurse at the hospital You were Amazing so kind and gently. To the Dr. for doing a complete check up on her. You see my daughter is Special Needs and the care she received from beginning to end was GREAT!! Thanks to the Rachel Mike and her boyfriend Joel You are Loving and Caring and I am glad she has you all in her life. She is ok Thanks for all the
Hands and Hearts that were There for her.....Thank You from Her Mom, You ALL have been SPOTTED
While visiting a relative at the ouellette campus, we had difficulty using the machine to pay for the parking garage with a credit card. Without even asking for help, a nurse passing by stopped to assist us. When she couldn't figure out the machine either, she reached into her wallet and paid for our parking with her own money despite my protest. How kind! Thank you!
This is about my brother Matthew. I can only write this because he doesn't care for computers so he doesn't have one. And if he seen it he would shoot me lol. We were out biking tonight to a friends and he spotted a wallet and picked it up. It was open up so you could see all the cards and ID. When we got to our friends he checked the address and found it wasn't too far away so he left and found the house of the owner, he was just a young guy. He asked his name to match the wallet, which by the way had a hundred dollars in it and gave it to him. When he came back to our friends I said to did he get it, he said yep. The guy just happened to be in the driveway and hadn't noticed yet he had lost it. I asked my brother if he offered him a reward and he said no, but giving him back his wallet was reward enough. Signed one proud sister xoxo
I want to say thankyou, to the very sweet and caring ladies working at the Burger King on Tecumseh and Huron area today (July 5th). My 4 year old son got his finger caught in the door upon entering and was very upset, frightened and crying lots. The ladies working came to help us immediately. They brought him ice, and treated him and his little sister to an ice cream cone. They turned his frightening experience into smiles with their friendly caring personalities ! Again thankyou, we appreciate you. The world needs more people like you's !
This evening, 3 nice kids (about 8-10 years old) were riding their bikes in Forest Glade and stopped outside of Macs Milk to ask the counter person for some water. When the owner (or employee) said "no" (his prerogative)....the customers in Macs (including myself) jumped in to action and all pitched in to buy them each a bottle of water. Just a shout out to the other family....Way to work together to help these thirsty kids!!!
Thank you to the young police auxiliary officer in the park today who helped carry our chairs back to the car. This senior sure appreciated it.
Last night (July 5th) my husband and I were going from lot to lot trying to park for fork and cork, had been a long week we just wanted to relax, finally found a spot in one of the paid lots at Ouellette and Riverside, waited for the spot, and as the man approached his car, he got back out and brought over his parking stub that he had paid for til midnight and gave it to us to have, this small gesture just made our night and cheered us up so much, thank you very much for your generosity :)
To the man from Leamington that gave my family tickets to WWE last night, thank you for your generosity, my kids had a great time :)
