Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Hoping to spot some non profit organizations. Its time for me to clear out my closet and I have a large amount of womens clothing in very good condition. Im looking to donate it to a organization where it will simply be given out to people in need, not sold for money. Suggestions? Thanks Windsorites :)
Great time at Fort Malden this past weekend during their Military Heritage Days. Re-enactors portray soldiers from the Roman era, 1812, WWI and WWII. Demonstrations included: 1812 canon firing, rate of fire exercises and mock battles. Follow the link for more images.

You know its going to be an interesting day when you wake up to find a kitten stuck in your engine. I called and they sent some fireman to get it out for me. #heros #savedthecat #shouldikeepit
I was at timmies on Ottawa a few days ago in the early morning. the nice lady that was working on Friday morning and I think her name is Patti. I come in every morning when she is working and she is always on the go and always has a smile on here face. She is a very hard worker and always gets my order right. I only go there when she is working. What I witnessed early Friday morning on how she was treated by a very mean person. What the woman said about her was not true and the customer should have been banned from the store. It was uncalled for. This goes out to you Patti. Your a very hard worker and I'm Sorry that you got treated that way.. keep doing the great work. Tim Horton's has a awesome and hard worker.
To the incredibly kind woman and little girl who found my sweet Yorkie and kept her safe...from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!!!!
I was out of town for the day and left my two pups at my parents house to be cared for. My dad, who absolutely adores my little pups, was working in the garage/ backyard with my little girl dog close by. Well, long story short, he got distracted and she wandered off. He was totally distraught and recruited my mom, the neighbours, and my best friend and her teenage kids to help find her. About an hour into the search, my best friend was driving up Woodridge Road in Tecumseh and saw a woman and a young girl standing at the curb cradling my dog. This wonderful woman was patiently waiting for someone to come down the street looking for my pup. Thank you, thank you...a million times thank you!! Thank you for keeping her safe. You are an incredibly kind woman and I owe you a debt of gratitude... :)))
PS...my dogs do have tags but I gave them both a bath the night before and forgot to put them on before I left them with my dad...I will never make that mistake again...have a wonderful weekend everyone :))
