To my children, Every time we go through a drive-thru my kids have a blast. I started following this page a year ago. Every time my kids come home from school they want me to read them all the good stories. The stories about people who pay it forward and good deeds done in and around the city. It makes them so happy to hear about all these awesome people that live in our city. Now this is where it gets good...
The get some money every week for completing their chores, and birthdays and such. Every time we go through a drive thru they ask me to find out how much the order behind us was. When I do and if it’s something they can afford they ask if they can pay for it. I allow it and I sometimes chip in if they do not have enough on them. (It’s usually only 2-5 bucks). The reaction they get from people as they wave to them saying thank you is what they enjoy most. They tell me they feel so good after that and they love it. I am very proud of them for how much they are growing up caring about others and realizing how great it feels to do something kind for another person. They have since collected can goods/ clothes and small gifts and dropped them off at local charities and organizations. This all started with a couple stories from last December I read to them from this page. I just wanted to give you guys a shout out and possibly a story to share with others. Every morning I go to Timmies on Ottawa Street in Walkerville. I am always greeted with a warm smile by the sweet lady with short red hair and big blue eyes. You say hello to me like we are long time friends, when I don't even know your name! I look forward to seeing you in the window with your pretty smile and twinkling eyes.

To the nice young man who paid for most of my groceries at Walmart just for letting you go ahead of me with your one item. You have been spotted for your sweet gesture. Even the cashier was surprised and I was grateful. You didn't have to do that but you insisted. Thank you and merry Christmas.

Shopped today at the Box food store on George and Wyandotte to pickup a few groceries for my elderly in laws.
When I checked out I was told that my purchase was paid for by the gentlemen who checked out in front of me. Sir you are so kind spirited. I want you to know you made my day.I will be paying it forward. Thank you .

I would like to say a big thank you to the gentleman at the Walmart parking lot that gave my daughters each a toy doll to one and a teddy bear to the other you made their night they were so happy and are now sleeping with them

On Monday I had to return my daughter's Elsa dress that lights up and plays music because it stopped playing music. The return was super easy. I went to the toy department to find a new one but the last one there didn't work at all. Joanna was working in the next aisle so I asked her for some help. She offered to try new batteries in it. While I was waiting for her and Annette (manager maybe?) to find a screw driver to open the batter compartment of the dress, about 6 or 8 employees asked if I was being helped or needed anything. When they found a screw driver and installed the new batteries, it still didn't work : ( Annette said that they would be getting shipments in daily bc it's so close to Christmas. I had the product number on the receipt so it should be easy. She suggested I ask how many were in stock when I called bc their system showed they had 9 in stock but there were none. I called this morning and the girl on the phone said the system showed they should have some on hand but when they sent someone to check on it, there were none. Thank you to everyone for all the help!! Customer service like this is hard to find these days, I appreciated everything you guys did!
