Yesterday while at the Metro store on Central and Tecumseh...7:30 ish with my 8 year old boy. At the checkout I was putting our things on the counter and my son asked me for a dollar as usual, and I said no, as usual , he says yes you do and giggles and goes over to the candy machine . Behind me was a tall young man , maybe 20- 25 or so walks over to my son and hands him a toonie and as he's walking back towards me and says " I loved those machines when I was a kid!" With the biggest smiles on our faces we both thanked him and thanked him😀. I was smiling because i was in awe!! I hope this doesnt sound bad but this sort of thing happens to my kid alot!! Im not trying to boast but im floored every time this happens. This was the youngest person to do this for my son , Thank You Again! Your mom would be proud ! But I would also like to thank the other kind souls who have made our day doing these small acts of kindness , it sure gives us faith in human kindness. My son has issues that are not alway noticeable so this truly means so much to us ! Bless you all❤️

My mother and I were involved in a hit and run yesterday March 22 when a guy in a silver/ grey SUV ran a stop sign and took off after impact on Elsmere and Sheperd. I would just like to thank everyone who came to make sure we were alright. I would like to give a special thanks to the off duty nurse who took care of me until paramedics arrived, to the person that followed the SUV and informed the police of his where abouts, and the cops and paramedics even though you men and women were just doing your job you were awesome!!! :) Thank you soo much everyone :)

I was at work at the gas Bar my daughter came in to get gas. The young man in front of her was getting Transmission fluid because his mothers car had broke down on Tec Rd in front of basic. Not only did she pay for his purchase but gave him a ride to work. She told him to pay it forward.You make me so proud Karlee Poynter.You have been spotted

Just a quick heads up for people who frequent the Willistead manor park: a family of Hawks has moved into one of the trees and made it their home. While I'm happy to see them, I worry for people I often see walking through the park with small dogs on and off leash. Please be vigilant :) they are beautiful birds that should be shown a great deal of respect but they're also predators and small dogs can be easy prey.

While heading to the checkouts at Costco today I was approached by gentlemen who asked me where I had found the large reusable Costco grocery bag I had on my arm. Instead of simply directing him to where the bags were I decided that I would show him. He told me that he did not want to trouble me as I was already in line but I told him it was no problem at all. After finding the bags we returned to the checkouts and he thanked me several times and wished me a wonderful week.
The store was extremely busy and there were large line-ups. He was two lanes over from me and I watched as a woman with a child and a large cart of groceries allowed this man to go ahead of her as he only had the two items. I could tell that he was shocked by her kindness and he thanked her. While he was waiting for his turn, he hurried over to me and said that as a thank you to this woman he was going to give her one of the bags he was purchasing. I watched the entire event take place and witnessed the amazement and gratitude on the woman’s face when he handed her the bag in appreciation.
When I was finished checking out I noticed the man standing by the food court with his family. I stopped and told him that what he had just done was truly wonderful. He said that the woman was in tears and said that she had had a very rough week and that his kindness had just made her day. He gave me a big hug and said that he hoped he could one day return the favor to me. I told him that it was not necessary, that him paying it forward was all the thanks I needed and had in turn made my day as well. With Easter just around the corner this was a perfect example of how God definitely works in mysterious ways. It’s incredible how one random act of kindness can quickly spiral into something much greater!! #ROK #COSTCO #SpottedinWIndor

I was at the casino with my mom and sister. We were celebrating my handycapped sisters birthday ! While in the pool, a nice lady had invited me to go to the Trace Atkins concert with her because I had given my tickets to mom and sister so I graciously accepted. We met at at 8:30 and the women had decided not to go to the concert and gave us her 3rd row seats. Omg thank you so very much ! My sister and mom enjoyed their night. It really made my sisters night. So thank you so very much !
