Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Today my child had 2 month shots and i wanted to give a shout out to the nurse at Dr. Howidis office. Both nurses are great but you were so caring and thoughful. Thank you
February was a very cold month, and on the 8th, my grandpa passed away in London. It was Avery difficult few days leading up to this, and exhausted, we came back to Windsor that afternoon. That same night...around 8 pm, there was a knock on our door. Being it a Sunday night, we were confused as we we're not prepared for visitors. At our door stood a older arabic lady, and I assumed her mother. Her car was stuck in a snow bank in front of our house. It was -40 out, so my husband and I picked up our shovels and some sand from our truck, and was able to send them on their way. This past Sunday, I was enjoying the sunshine on our porch, and that same lady stopped by to bring me a gift for helping her when she needed it. I thought that was an unbelievably nice gesture. She was so thankful even 6 months later. That really made my day.

Thank you to the person in the vehicle with Omara on their license plate who was in front of me in the drive thru line at the Timmie's on Malden Road just now for paying for my order. I appreciate it so much and I returned the favour to the person behind me! Hoping everyone has an awesome Tuesday :)
I would like to thank all the people who sent me well wishes on the Miss Teen United Nations World Title. Not only did you all inspire me to work harder but inspired me to win. I was crowned Miss Teen United Nations 2015 on July 18, in Kingston, Jamaica. I just have to say having all the support makes it easy to represent Canada. Thank you Windsorites and Canada& lt;3. We brought the world title together.
To the beautiful young couple teaching each other how to slow dance Monday evening in Jackson Park around 8pm... thank you! I felt my heart fill with happiness when I watched the two of you learning how to dance together. Your steps were smooth and your love was electric. As they say, "dance like no one is watching" ;)
LOST PC CELL phone in the vicinity of Wyndotte and Lauzon .
I was pulled off to the side of the road just not to far off from the Kingsville exit heading to Windsor when I had to put air in my tire.. a blue pick up pulled up behind me and 2 men and a lady came over to see if I needed any assistance. What a kind gesture and how thoughtful, You have been spotted and a huge thank you. It is nice to see strangers coming the aid of others..
