Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Kudos to the Assistant Branch Manager Pam at the Tecumseh/ Lauzon BMO. I was having a frustrating banking issue and not only did she return my call quickly but gave me 2 options to my issue. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your suggestions turned my day around and made it brighter.
The collective of Provincial MP's you voted into Office created programs they felt their constituents wanted, and one of them was Ontario Renovates. Another "wasn't a large pay raise or two", but obviously we have no say in that. This program, designed to help disabled people to secure the structural and energy-efficiency of their homes, has provided me with a 10-year forgiveable loan, providing I remain the sole Owner and continue living in my home. Therefore, to the Citizens of Ontario, I say Thank You for the new roof, siding, two windows, and the R-50 energy efficiency rating improvements. They have made my house sound and secure for years, while helping me save money.
The Citizens of Windsor hold many records regarding donated support for local and National causes. Their votes have helped me also. The rules in place at Windsor City Hall provides temporary Property Tax relief in cases of Extreme Poverty. I fit into that category also, so I have received a reduction on my Property Taxes for the last two years. I Thank You for the assistance, as my pay hasn't risen either, and it's been decades since I earned over $12,000 in any one of them.
With my 56th birthday coming this month, my rusty old white Buick will now get a proper tune-up to pass another E-Test. I think that if your vehicle passes, you should get a refund, except for VW. I hear they cheat.
Again, Thank you all. I can provide other reasons why I qualified for these programs, if you need.

On Tuesday morning you stole my wallet out of my car I didn't see that I had left the back window down and you were watching me leave the car without a purse, you took advantage and only stole the wallet and for that you are a POS, but for that I want to say Thank You. Odd you say, well you opened my eyes to the fact that as a woman I carry every piece of identification known to man in that wallet, credit cards, gift cards, birth certificate, driver's license, ownership, debit cards, health card etc. I want to say thank you for bringing to my attention that I was the fool for carrying my life in a black carry all for you to steal. I didn't even notice it was gone for many hours because you left the purse. Once I discovered your dirty deed I panicked. Who do I call 1st the credit card companies, my bank, the police, on and on. I called the credit card companies to report stolen cards, bank re: debit cards, Ministry of Transportation? All were sympathic and advised me what to do. I went and got a temp drivers license $25. I had a copy of my ownership so that wasn't needed. Health card has to be reissued they gave me a code in case I have to go to the doctors. Started to do a replacement for birth certificate $85. fee, needed a credit card to pay for it oops mine was stolen, this list goes on and on. I want to thank you for leaving my wallet intact at the Tim Hortons Wyandott and Lauzon where the wonderful manager named Shannon went the extra mile to tract me down. I hope you enjoyed the tim cards and the staples gift card and the $10 but I got the meet and speak to some wonderful people and learned a lesson about what to keep in my wallet from now on. The point of this is empty that wallet and don't keep everything in one place.
This morning I was in Tim Hortons drive thru at manning and 42, I let a car go in front of me in line. Then she went and paid for my coffee. You really made my day! Thank you

Today I was at the dentist while my daughter was having some work done. When she was almost finished I left and ran next-door to order our dinner at Subway (Sandwich prkwy). I had forgotten my purse at home so I had my husbands credit card. When I went to pay I couldn't remember his pin number. So I proceeded to leave run back to the dentist and grab his pin number. When we came back to pick up our subs the cashier explained to us that somebody in line had went ahead and paid for our order. Little did they know, that my daughter was having a rough go during her procedure and we were there much longer than expected......hence take out 😉. So, to the VERY THOUGHTFUL stranger who paid for our dinner tonight......THANK YOU!!! You made our day and have been spotted ❤️
