Met hospital oulette campus

To the emergency room nurse who was working the front counter this afternoon/ evening, thank you for being so kind and helping my family member today. You are truly in the right calling and make one exceptional nurse, which was evident in just the short time I was able to see your calm and patient demeanour. Thank you so much, your hard work has not gone unnoticed.

Local Author holds Auction for food banks having to close doors!

So tonight I'm scrolling through my new feed and I come across a shared post from my friend about this local girl who is getting big name authors [I looked them up] and locals to give free signed books to auction off so that she can go buy food for our food banks that are having struggle right now. Names Gracie Wilson and she's doing this event until the 13th so that she can go buy that week and fill the shelves right before holidays. As a single mom with no help I use them and to know they closing wow just awful because we all need help sometimes. she's doing things like dollar donations get you entered into a draw she's giving her stuff away as free things for coming to her event online. Best believe I'll be sitting at my computer. I use the banks so I know what it's like and to see someone who's admitted she never stepped foot in one but wants to help is a no brainer for me. Gracie I sent you my last ten bucks you got this

thankful

I just want to thank each and every single person who stopped to help my son and I after we were involved in a car accident on tecumseh road when a man decided he was going to run a red light. I wish I could have taken the time to thank each and every one of you personally. And thank you to the witnesses who stayed behind as well. You guys are amazing people xoxoxo

A wonderful teacher

I believe that a teacher can have so much impact on a student, and it always amazes me when a teacher goes above and beyond and takes teaching a step further. I have a special needs child and knowing that his teacher pushes him to learn to what she believes he is capable of makes me feel so happy. My son could barely read before maybe a few words but this year he is reading so much more, they have certain days that they pair up with kindergarteners and my son will read to them. Knowing my son is accomplishing makes me so proud of him. To some this may be something so small but to a mom with a special needs child it means the world. I wanted to acknowledge, and thank his teacher for all she is doing. Not just with my child but with all the children in her classroom!

Tim Hortons Lexus Guy

I want to say "Thanks" to the guy in a black Lexus at the Tim Hortons this morning (8:40am) on Tecumseh and South Field Drive, for paying it forward and paying for mine and my husbands order.
Yes, it might seem like such a simple thing but to us it just made our day. This week has been a rough one. From not knowing if I will lose my job, dealing with problems at our sons school, it is also coming up to the anniversary of my dads passing ...along with all the other stresses in life. It helped to bring a smile to our faces and to say get out of this sadness slump.
We also paid it forward to the guy behind us, so you also started a chain event :)
So thank you again!

At about 640 this morning on the corner of Lauzon and McHugh I encountered a woman who had just hit a cyclist. She was understandably distraught. When I got there there was another gentleman in a suit who had arrived just before me. He was calm and handle the situation. When I called 911 he told me to tell them it was Inspector Hickey. I gave him my phone and he explained what he needed. Within a matter of minutes the firemen from the fire station right there had arrived as well as two police cars and the ambulance. So my point is thank you to Inspector Hickey, Windsor Fire and EMS.

Thankful beyond words.

I am just so thankful beyond words, my boyfriend lost his wallet, not even knowing he lost it, he got a call from the police station and someone had turned it in. Not a single thing missing & someone went out of their way to return it to the police With two little ones, I can't thank you enough for being so kind and honest when finding it. My faith in humanity has been completely restored, the way the world is these days there is not many people as kind as you. Thank you so so much.
