Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
My husband and I found this little black and white collie like pooch by our house near riverside/ east of downtown. Anyone missing this hyper little sweetheart? We've canvased for about 25 mins around the neighbourhood and no one seems to recognize him/ her. We've dropped him off at the humane society because it is too cold for anyone outside and we cannot keep him in our house. He has HS tags so we hope they have record of it's owner.

Hello friends. Does anybody know who this man is? We would love to find out. The picture was taken in Windsor, Ontario circa 1976. We would really appreciate it if you all took a moment to share the picture. We think he could be my fiance's biological father. Thank you!
Holiday Season & Cardboard Boxes
Everyone when you buy new items for Christmas even when you receive gifts in boxes...Please break down the boxes so when recycle day comes along no one can see what you just bought or received...therefore deters criminals from breaking and entering your home!
I adopted Bella on July 10, 2014, from the Windsor/ Essex County Humane Society where she sat unwanted for two months. She was the very last dog I looked at and well, she chose me.
On Sunday November 30, at 10:45AM, I was bringing Bella home from her trip to the park and what she did next amazed me.
Sunday was the first time Bella refused to listen to me. We walked in the apartment building and when the elevator door opened, Bella refused to get in, she promptly dragged me into the lobby at full speed and went behind a couch and out of sight from everyone was an elderly man laying on the floor having a heart attack, I called 911 and Bella laid next to him with her paw in his arm and wouldn't budge until the paramedics got there. Way to go Bella, I'm so proud of you!!!
To the gentleman riding down Manning road around 7:30 am each day, please apply some reflective tape to your black clothing and maybe consider adding lights to the front and back of your bike. I appreciate that you are biking on these cold mornings but would hate for you to be hit.
Be careful out there!
Lost over the weekend is a Zimbabwean passport with a post graduate work permit inside. It is my lifeline. If anyone came across it, I would be very grateful as I'm currently in a state of panic. You can call 519 962 2700 or drop me an email on django519@gmail.com. Thank you in advance.
Last week i was at WalMart on Dougall, and i was helping my friend load many bags of heavy groceries into the trunk of her car. I must have dropped my wallet ( a dark burgundy plaid small coach wallet without a handle) and i was completely distraught!!! I never though id see it again, especially since all my ID in it was from my old address still. I was simply delighted when the occupant of my last home called me to tell me a woman had dropped it off. I never had a chance to meet the woman or thank her for returning it, so i can only hope she reads this on here! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Our dog, Ella, got out of her yard around lunchtime and we're unable to find her. She's a rescue from the Humane Society and was abused so is very shy and quiet. She is a german shepherd mix. She's really important to our family and we really want to get her home. Would you be able to share her photo?
She was lost from Sacred Heart Drive in Lasalle, right next to LPS.
