To the kind man who stopped to give us a boost

Last night while shopping at Costco with my family, we somehow left our truck lights on. We tried to start the truck, but the battery was dead. My husband lifted the hood and we called our daughter and son-in-law to give us a boost. We were there for 30 minutes while cars just drove by us without anyone stopping to ask if we needed help. Anytime we see a car with the hood up, we always stop to ask if they need help. Finally, just before our daughter and son-in-law showed up, a man in a silver Chrysler van stopped and gave us a boost. Thank you sir for your kindness, it was greatly appreciated.

To the older woman who noticed me tearing up while on the phone with my mom. Not many people would have the concern or bother to ask someone they don't know if they are OK (which is ok) . Although you walked up to me and were ready to hug me once I got off the phone. I had just heard some horrible news about my grandmother and I was going to try and hold it in. But you came up to me and said "hello sweetie, is everything ok?" I had then burst into tears while you held me. To you I just want to thank you, and apologize for wetting your shirt with all my tears(lol). It was like you were put there at the exact time I needed someone. Thank you and thank God for putting you there. I feel so much better knowing that there are so many caring people out there.

Signed
A heart broken Granddaughter.

I went through the drive thru tonight at howard and Tecumseh. I ordered my coffee and asked for a chocolate danish. The man on the speaker said that they didnt have any so I asked for apple fritter instead. The man gave me my total and told me to drive up. When I got to the window, he told me that he was sorry but he didnt have any apple fritters either. I told him that it was ok and that I woud just take the coffee. He then apologized again , (which it wasnt a big deal at all) and came to the window with a bag, told me that it was a coconut donut and to please try it, on the house, and to enjoy. Such a small gesture, but it really goes to show how this man went above and beyond, for a customer who wasnt the least bit upset or disappointed. Great customer service!

25 years ago my mother set out on an incredible journey on her own. She opened her own business, even though all odds were against her, being a single woman in business. She has made it work through thick and thin. Always working hard to support her family and going above and beyond for her clients. She has been a pillar in her community for grooming and although hard at times, never gave up. Congratulations Denise Garvin on an amazing 25 years in business and making Loyal Companions Dog Grooming Inc. so successful. YOU HAVE BEEN SPOTTED

Reduce Your Telemarketer Calls and Get a Good Laugh!

Who likes Telemarketer calls? I despise them, so I thought what can I DO to minimize them. Last week I decided to start answering them and talking in absolute gibberish; once I knew they were marketers. Well you keep them on the phone, wasting their time, as they say WHAT instead of you (because so many speak broken English), they eventually hang up on you and you laugh your butt off, making it a pleasurable experience rather than a pain; that is if you have a sense of humor. Can you imagine, if the majority answered this way, Telemarketers would finally give up! Just thought I would share because honestly, I am still laughing!
