Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This morning on the Windsor Buy and Sell - No Drama, a young Mother posted that her family wanted to share some Easter goodies with a family who were not as fortunate as they are. What a wonderful thing to do . I'm sure the little ones who recieve these gifts will be so happy. Bless you and your family on this Sunny Easter morning. Your kind Heart has been spotted. & lt;3
Please consider keeping your outdoor cats inside! I'm sick of seeing dozens of cats dead on the roads. This needs to change, clearly they are not meant for outdoors! That along with the tons of Spotted postings of missing cats and dogs makes me sick. Yes, I get mistakes happen and animals sneek out; but to the owners who find their cats wondering along side EC row you should be expecting the worst of the worst! Be proactive and keep them safe, animals are hungry and a lot of people don't give a damn.
The staff at Staples set up a BBQ to raise funds to help a fellow employee who suffered severe burns. The funds are to help her with medical expenses such as a special suit to wear to help her burns heal. Took this photo during a lull in the event but when we went by after doing some shopping at Walmart, there was a nice big line up for hotdogs. We moved to Windsor last summer and have to say this is one special city with a lot of special people in it. We love it here!
While my children were out playing yesterday(April 19th), they found a set of keys on the ground. There is a FOB, and a few keys on the ring. Found in the downtown area(Janette, Bruce, Grove and Giles area). Please contact us at Alphabet_soupx7@hotmail.ca if you lost a set a keys.
I took my kids for a bike ride earlier this afternoon. We crossed paths with a sweet lady walking a dog. She stopped to talk to me and told me that she is here visiting her son and that she lives in the UK. She told me how lovely it was to talk to me and that she is used to people stopping and talking to each other in her village in Northern England. She was walking her son's adorable dog, Ozzy. I don't know if she will see this, but to June, thank you for making my afternoon and for the warm hug and taking the time to talk to a complete stranger. You are such a lovely person and you really made my day :) I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay here in Canada and have a safe trip back to the UK :)a

I would like to extend a sincere, heartfelt thanks to the staff at Real Canadian Superstore on Dougall Rd for having a BBQ today with proceeds going towards Autism Services Inc. Annual Pasta Fundraiser that will be held on May 2nd at the Fogolar. This fundraiser is to help support the Bruce Awad Summer Program for Individuals with Autism. Kudos to Real Canadian Super Store and staff in their generous efforts to help individuals with autism in our community! They're an amazing group of people that deserve recognition!
