Hello!
I came across this while digging up some dirt and was wondering, if anyone had any information in this piece? I assume it's from the 50's and maybe even the 40's from chrysler. It's an employee pin from factory number 2. I'm just looking on information and to know the history abit better on this pin!
If the image doesn't show up the pin says
CHRYSLER CORP OF CANADA LIMITED. Chrysler logo on top with plastic over 2 sets of number with a red background. The pin is a brass or a bronze.
I was at Terra Cotta pizza yesterday while I was visiting Windsor from London. Shelby was not only polite but she was willing to give me the 2 for 1 deal for my order. Since I was by myself and I was leaving the same day, I took advantage of the 2 for 1 deal during the lunch hour and I also was able to make a good deed out of it by giving my second box of pizza to the Quality Suites staff.
Also, I want to thank you for having a conversation with me while I was at the restaurant as well as by doing a superb job by asking customers if they were students since it was a 2 for 1 deal on Wednesday. I am a student at Fanshawe College and thank you so much for providing excellent guest service but also ensuring that customers keep coming back. Everytime I have lived in Windsor, service at Terra Cotta has always been awesome! :)
I was coming home from getting blood work done and I took the bus home, I got to the bus stop across the street and half a block from my apartment and as I got off a guy in a golden van (that looks a bit older and faded in colour, possibly a Four Wheel Drive type) had honked at me. I walked over to the other side and near my apartment where the guy was parked, he rolls his window down and begins to ask me questions like this: "Do you need a ride?" or "Are you scared?" and he has a bit of an accent to his voice, he has darker skin and black hair that seems to be nicely trimmed and taken care of, not overweight or underweight, dark eyes, no facial hair, wears nice clothing that is in blues and blacks, seems to be around the height of 5 ' 5" or just over, and his car smells nice.
After he asked me a few times about if I was scared or anything, I quickly turned to go home and he drove off afterward.
If anyone sees this man, do not hesitate to get a license plate number and report him.
Last Spotting: On Sandwich Street.
I was walking to the casino on Chatham Street East and while I was crossing at the lights, Police Chief Al Frederick walked by me. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the fact that you stopped to say hello to me while we were walking in opposite directions. You made my day even better while I was going to the casino yesterday around 1:50 p.m..
Its great that Windsor hired a chief that enjoys dealing with the public.
I just want to share the story of Jamal Binion the Michigan man who was bullied and insulted by celebritie shaq and two other celebrities over his selfie that he posted on instagram. I know he is not a Windsor native but I wanted to let everyone know he created a group on Facebook called hugs don't judge because bullying happens everywhere and this group may be helpful to alot of people. This group has been blowing up with people with similar issues from all around the world and what they/ their children go through on a daily basis and how they deal with and manage these things. If you have a huge heart and have a story to share or would like to follow others stories send a request to Jamal to be added to his group. Thanks to Mr Binion for sharing his story and taking a stand towards all bullies.
Signed - Not perfect but learned my lesson.

the other day I was running rampid because I had lost my debit card (again..*sigh*) and was in a rush to get to a specialist appointment. I went to the TD by my house on Tecumseh, just past Ouellette and they were closed (I think they've moved?) so panicked, I turned around and headed for the Ottawa location.
when I walked in I mentally cursed as there of course was line and I had to get this done because I knew I might need it for my appointment. while standing in line I saw the cutest exchange occur between a clerk and an adorable young boy, perhaps 4-5 yrs old. while she typed away and helped mom, she had an ongoing discussion with this little guy about a rock he'd found. standing high on his tiptoes, he hefted it up over his head so she could see his prize. they talked about where he'd found it, how heavy and how awesome it clearly was. this little guy was quite impressed with himself and a little chest puffing may have occurred. the clerk of course awarded him with a shiny sticker, which turned up the happy dial a few more levels lol..
the whole time, the clerk never missed a beat and efficiently moved on to the next person, the one after that and finally me!! when I got up, I apologitically said I was in a hurry and asked if I should just withdraw money or try for the new card? she said it would be a quick process and it was. I was so thankful I wanted to give her a shiny sticker lol.
so to TD bank staff thank you! I made my appointment, head still attached and you obviously made a little boys day.
