To the man with the big tractor!

I live in the Remington park area and all winter our streets barely get plowed! Which makes it very difficult for us to get in and out of our driveways (espeically with two smaller cars). This morning I woke up to a man in a big yellow tractor plowing our street! I thought he was getting paid to do this. But then a neighbour informed my fianc that this man is doing it for free! With his own tractor, own gas, and on his own time!

He covered our driveway at the end with a little snow bank.....so my fianc was outside shoveling it so he could get his car in the driveway....and this man even came back and shoveled the end of our driveway as well!

That was so nice of you! You don't know how much easier you have made it for us to be able to get in and out of our driveway without getting stuck and sliding around everywhere!

So to the man in Remington park on Sunday February 11th, THANK YOU! Thank you thank you thank you! You are very kind! We really appreciate it as do all of our neighbours!

Stuck in the snow

Thanks again to the City employee who stopped his truck early this morning to push my car out of the snow and down my street. I yelled thank you but didn't want to stop in case I got stuck again! I appreciate your help!

Good Samaritans

Huuuuuuge thank you to the 3 young men and young lady who helped get me and my car out of the snow tonight after I turned a corner that I had to business attempting to turn and instantly regretted it. You truly have no idea how much your kindness meant to me in that moment. After a week of being sick I just wanted to pay my wonderful parents a visit and stop by shoppers to get some gosh darn eggs because they're on sale. You stopped to help me just as I finished banging on my steering wheel and screaming in frustration. The 4 of you were seriously my saviors tonight and I hope you see this and know how much your help meant to me :):):) thank you thank you thank you!!

Great Neighborhood

I had to walk today on the sidewalk from Reginald and Westminster to Tecumseh Rd Everybody in the neighborhood had sidewalks either shovelled or snow plowed all the way down the street Too bad trying to cross the corners was hazardous Koodos to everyone to make it easy to go down the sidewalk Best neighborhood ever

Good Neighbours still exist

Yesterday's snowfall + city snowplows made our driveways a bit of a problem for those needing to go out or go to work this morning. Our Street had a generous hearted neighbour who went up and down the street with his snowblower and cleaned the entrances to driveways and I believe he cleaned a number of driveways as well. Thank you Santino Pirrone for your compassionate act of kindness to those who were unable to get out and shovel this morning!

good neighbours

Kudoos to the 2 men using their scoop shovels to clear snow off the road on the cul-de-sac in the 1300 block of Church, so their neighbours are able to maneuver through the snow. Way to go guys..
