Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
On Saturday I went to get a gyro with my sister at Greek boy on glengarry and wyandott. I started my order and I had to ask my sister if she wanted salad or fries I came back in and said salad and he walked away I didn't even finish my order he comes back and asks the next guy his order after he took that order I said recuse me I never finished my order he rudely says why didn't u tell me I said well you just walked away. So he's taking my order I wanted no onions on one and no tomatoes and onions on the other and I told him one gyro plain with tazhiki on the side he starts getting loud with me and rude so I said forget it then he yells get out of here I will never go back there again and apparently he is rude to all his customers I will never go back there again
I just had bi lateral carpal tunnel release on Thursday. My 11 yr old son has stayed home this weekend to help me. He hasn't stopped. I can't even turn a door knob. He really wanted to go for a walk today to get a donut at timmies and walk up to the video store. So me with my hands all wrapped walked him over to met hospital to find out all their donuts were sold :-(. We the walked up Tecumseh rd. Stopping at different stores. Stopping at a store for a drink for him to realize my money had fallen out of my pocket. I felt just awful. I lost $15 somewhere in our travels. He looked at me and just replied that's ok mom. Lets just go home. My heart was broken. He has helped me so much since Thursday I couldn't even get a drink for him. He walked ahead of me trying to see if he could find it for me. He said "mom I know you try and save as much as you can , loosing it must really make you mad but there is nothing you can do". He was right. He lightly took my hand and said lets just go home. So if anyone finds $15 in the Met and Tec rd area its not a LG amount of money but use it wisely. Even my 11yr old understands the value of money. He didn't get to have his donut or drink but still smiled and held my hand all the way home.
To the cab driver that pulled into Subway @ 10:30 pm on Wyandotte St E (May 17th, 2014).
I saw you helping your passenger - a very elderly lady - out of your vehicle and into Subway with her purse and cane. You appeared so patient and kind with her during what I assume was a late night snack run and I can only imagine how much she appreciated your assistance. It was so great seeing you take the time to help her get safely inside... and you even made it before closing time. You've been spotted!
To the male cashier with the longer hair working at the Winners on Dougal rd today.. Let me just say you are by far one of the most attractive males I have ever seen in windsor ever !! I could not take my eyes off your beautiful smile, flawless face and luscious hair!! You did not cash me out but we did make brief eye contact and exchanged a smile ! God bless you and your amazing features !!! So hott!!
Shout out and big thank you to Fadi at Fresh Co Tecumseh and Huron Line in Windsor. This store did not have an advertised item I was looking for and Fadi went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Not only did he call another store, he went himself to pick up bags of mulch for me to save on my gas and time. They were ready for me the next day and even personally loaded my car. Great, great customer service. He should be acknowledged for his efforts, and Fadi, my yard looks great!
A random stranger just paid for brunch at Cora's for my boyfriend and I! Thanks a ton! And thanks everyone that held doors for me in this wheelchair and reached things I couldn't. If you've ever held a door or reached something for anyone in a chair, know that you're very appreciated.
Would like to thank Wayne at BMR Building Centre for his awesome customer service! Need more people in this industry just like you working with the public!
You helped us with everything we needed and made sure all was taken care of before we left the store :)
To the miserable lady who had to slam her brakes and almost ran a stop sign and just about hit me behind Tecumseh Mall, you're way too old to not accept responsibility.. the angry scowl wasn't necessary.
