In the last 24 hours I've witnessed 2 people blatantly littering on the street.
Yesterday afternoon (May 20th) at the Starbucks Plaza on Huron Church, a girl in TIGHT pink leggings was walking into Subway. We were driving behind her when she tossed her WHOLE subway bag, napkins and wrappers out of her car window and on to the road....
Today (May 21st) around 4pm I was driving on Banwell, near Tecumseh when I was turning left and a car had stopped at the light and had their car door open, I paused for a second to make sure they were alright when I noticed they closed their door and drove away, leaving their empty milk carton on the ground and that's why they opened their door.....

What is this world coming to that we throw large amounts of garbage on the road instead of waiting to get home to put it where it belongs? And we wonder why our environment is deteriorating.

Attention drivers of Windsor, with the warm weather and good driving conditions starting, please remember some extremely important things:
1. Use signals to indicate turning/ lane switching
2. Please look and check all mirrors/ blind spots before turning/ switching lanes
3. Don't just assume a driver is going to let you into the lane especially when diving at high speeds
4. Watch for pedestrians
5. Use your brain!

I'm really exhausted with the fact that everyday I go out driving I am literally at an inch away from having a major accident from other drivers almost hitting me from not seeing that my car is in the lane they're attempting to go in. Then getting mad at me for honking because they literally almost hit me and caused me to hit the breaks. I'm not saying everyone's a perfect driver but you should be damn near close if you're on the roads putting yourself and others in potential harms way.

And one more thing, get off your phones people, that text can wait 5 minutes.

To the couple in the beige mini van at the Tim Horton's on Dougall and Tecumseh Road West who paid for my order this morning around 10:15a.m.... thanks! You made me smile :)

To the person at the gas station who drove off without paying for their gas, that is such a horrible thing to do! Think before you do stuff like that, and who it effects.

I was shopping at Walmart today and I didnt have enough money to buy my little girl certain things we were going to purchase, so I put them back and the woman that was behind us in line came outside after us and wanted to pay for them! We both declined, but I want this woman to know how grateful we were for such a kind gesture!

Recently I came upon an upcoming business that is working for a great cause! I needed a new phone, so I looked around windsor kijiji until I found an ad for "kyphones.com". This ad wasn't like every other ratty undetailed phone ad, it was nice organized and told me exactly what I needed to know. After investigating further, I realized this is a business that only recently started right here in Windsor, ON. After looking on the website for a while, I decided to give it a go because the prices were cheaper than most others on kijiji. The payment was through paypal so I knew I was safe, I just wanted to test this possible scam of a business out. The day after I sent the payment, I had an extremely polite delivery driver from kyphones.com at my door with my new iPhone in his hands! I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and it was super easy! He let me try everything out right there before I paid him.

They are recycling iphones in order to prevent the phones from being wasted. They are saying that only 10% of today's phones are recycled, and the rest are put to waste which is severely harming wildlife. I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!
