Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I heard rumours at work that there was a Groundhog living in the area.
I set up a camera and some delicious asparagus tips during lunch and waited to see.
The following video is the result.
Dave, You are the sweetest cousin in the whole world. I am very proud to call you my cousin. I would even lean more towards calling you a brother. You have carried the weight of the world on your shoulders and have shined through. You are loving and caring and always willing to lend a hand. Spending the last few months with you during our papa's failing health has been a honour and a pleasure. Mimi would be so proud of you for looking after the love of her life. Btw I won't mention the "rocket" at the hospital to anyone.... I promise...
My vehicle broke down in that storm and I was able to coast over to the curb as far as I could before my vehicle came to a complete halt . I put my hood up and my 4 way flashers on, and not one driver stopped to see if I needed help , they all raced up to the back of my vehicle hitting their horn. There was one man that had just got home himself from work and came over to see if I was okay and if I needed to use his phone to call for help , I would just like to say thank you for caring . After an hour of rude and ignorant drivers I was beginning to think there were no good Windsorites out there.
To the Windsor Fire Fighter who helped me jump my moms truck in the emerge parking lot of Met hospital, Thank you so much. I truly forgot how to jump a vehicle. I wanted to give my thanks to him because once he was done helping me he handed back the jumper cables and that's when I noticed he was a patient and was just leaving. I felt so bad that he helped me, but he was so nice and said it's not a problem! So Mr. Fire Man you have been spotted. And I hope you feel better soon. :)

Just as I was turning onto County Road 22 off of East Pike Creek tonight my car lost power I did all I could do to get my car as close as possible to side of road
As we all know it is rush hour traffic at that time of day worst place ever to break down
While waiting for the tow truck to arrive and on the brink of a nervous breakdown watching all these card come at me and almosy hit me there were two gentlemen that actually stopped to see if I needed assistance one of these men was going in the opposite direction and did a u turn
Just wanted to say thank you to both gentlemen for stopping to see if you could help whole others just drove by and honked their horns at me (they all acted like I wanted to break down there)
Also a big thank you to my brother for coming and rescuing me and my co worker for the use of her caa card
Hopefully when the dealer calls tomorrow it is not that major
A picture is worth a thousand words.
To the Assumption High School students crossing Huron Church today at 3:15pm dodging south bound truck traffic. The City of Windsor built you a bridge to walk over for your safety. Use it!
FOUND LAST FRIDAY: Medium sized female, black/ tan dog with a long tail. Did not have tags or a collar. Friendly and appears well trained. If this is your dog and you have not found her yet, she is safe at the Windsor-Essex Humane Society waiting for you!
