Technically this is Lasalle but help! Some company dumped at least 3 yards of dirt on my grass while I was upstairs feeding my newborn. There is a lot of construction with new homes being built so I didn't notice the truck . I don't know if it was an address mistake or what but the police said I would have to pay myself to have it removed since I didn't see which company . If you have any idea who did this please let me know! It happened on International Thursday before noon.
today while parking to go out for lunch with my bf after a long time of opposite schedules (we told her we were going for lunch) the attendant said today was our karma lunch day and made sure our vehicle was safe in the lot with no charge for parking. She made my/ our day so much we talked about her during lunch! what a great person..good things will surely come your way lot lady!!! And a true lady you are! Thank you.

With the Sobeys store in Tecumseh mall closing; you might think that the other grocery stores would be vying for our service. Not so. We were shopping at the Metro on Tecumseh Rd. E at 4:30 this afternoon. Our checker was more intent on carrying a LONG conversation with the gal who was bagging our groceries. It was taking a very long time to ring our few things through so I thought I would go to the lotto counter to buy a scratch ticket. The girl there could see me waiting, but after serving the two people in her line-up, said she would have to call another person to serve me. After waiting for about 5 minutes for the person to show up, I left. At least at Zehr's; we expect poor service because they don't very often have more than one checker working, so we use the self checkout. Apparently, customer service has died.
Power Cycle on Walker Road you've been spotted. The side walk is NOT the spot for you to park your truck on a busy Saturday afternoon, or any time for that matter. People walking on that side walk should no be forced to walk ON WALKER road.
Today in my travels,I witnessed a City of Windsor Traffic truck enter the east Howard ramp. I noticed it slow down as turning then stopped in lane way. In front of them was a family of geese, but it seemed one of the parents did not want to go in their direction. It was so cute the babies & other parent trying to get the attention of the stubborn parent! Finally the truck passenger got out and guided them to safety ! It was nice that they stopped and waited for them to cross! I see a lot of this on a Riverside Dr west near bridge and some drivers have no patience for them! Thank you workers for your patience and if you had to you would have used your emergency lights! Wish I could have taken a picture!
I would like to thank the Tecumseh Truck Driver from Rock Well Truck Lines who was driving towards Windsor last night (june 10-11)on the 401. My daughter was driving back from Toronto late in the night and had to take the emergency detour because of construction. It was her first day driving the 401 by herself and and wouldn't have been able to navigate her way out alone. She isn't sure if they were guiding her or not, but her and I are both very gratefull for the assitance!
You have been SPOTTED!
Thank you from a very worried and grateful mother!
