My boyfriend and I were enjoying a wonderful evening at Cosmos in Caesars Windsor Sunday evening watching The Mike Ure Band and enjoying my favorite drink (calligulas kiss, tastes like a fruit roll up!). The band had just finished a great set and we were chatting deciding what to do while we waiting for their next set, when I gentleman came over to us and asked if we'd like to see Jake Owen. Being a HUGE country fan myself, I smiled and looked at my boyfriend, who isn't a huge country fan, but he said sure why not?! We thanked the man, and went to the concert. To my surprise the seats were just ten rows off floor seating, absolutely great view. We had a wonderful time! I just wanted to thank this man, from the bottom of my heart, for giving us these tickets! We had a great night :)

I went to KFC last night, around 5:00, and picked up a large order of chicken for a get together our family was having. It was right in the middle of that horrible storm and the rain was coming down in sheets.
Since my order was too big to carry all at once I took one bag and told the server that I would bring it to my car and be back for the rest.
As I was headed out the door and into the sheet of pouring rain a man came up behind me carrying the rest of my order. He helped me carry my order to my car and proceeded to put it all in the car and get it situated.
I said thank you a few times before you dashed off to get out of the rain, but I wanted to say Thank You again. It meant a lot that someone was willing to go out in that horrible weather just to help a person carry something to her car.
So THANK YOU! and I hope your dinner was really good lol

I haven't spotted it YET, but I will spot WINDSOR on July 28th! I'll be landing at Windsor airport from the north coast of Northern Ireland to visit my family! Getting to the 'counting days' stage. I just can't wait. Fingers crossed for a great crop of corn and all the other things I love back home!

So as of July 1st/ 2014 all residents of Windsor must use a garbage can with a lid on it. Which is fine. But I don't plan on buying new garbage can each week. I say this because I just watched the garbage collector take my garbage can and toss it along with the lid, making it easy for it to fly away. I think they should be responsible and put the lid back on. Not toss it around.

Tonight I saw two young women watching their dog chasing baby ducklings in Blue Heron Pond; laughing at how funny it was. News Flash: this was NOT funny. The birds were terrified and your dog, though little, came roaring out of the water to bark at us. In case you don't realize it, your dog MUST be on the leash at all times. Shame

I work at a restaurant downtown and just as the storm was hitting us, the owner asked me to chase an employee down the street. There was a woman waiting for her food and offered to lend me her umbrella so I didn't get drenched looking for said employee. Just wanted to say thank you to that woman, would have been drenched for the rest of the night if it wasnt for her!

A family member of mine was recently admitted to the CCU at Hotel Dieu Hospital.
We had a terrible experience with Dr. A.F. Jina. He was extremely rude and humiliated my family member. He had a terrible lack of respect and bed side manner. For a hospital that advertises compassionate care, this is completely unnacceptable, and from what I've been reading online, this isn't the first time that this doctor has been out of line. Will definately be making a complaint about him.
