Man who was tipped over in a wheelchair - anyone know him?

My dad was in the area of Droullard rd a few days ago and came across a man in a wheelchair at the side of the road and it was tipped over. My dad noticed it as he was driving over the railroad tracks. He's not sure how long he was there for but got assistance to help the man up and call for an ambulance, he had a gash at the side of his head. My dad has such a kind heart and i'm happy to say I inherited that from him. If anyone knows the gentleman that was injured can you please let us know how he is doing?

Thank you.

Dear Old Man That Nearly Ran Me Over

I was waiting at Chatham & Goyeau, to cross the street, and return home from walking my dog. You were in your enormous SUV, across the intersection from us. No indicator on, so I assumed you were continuing straight on Goyeau. The light changed, and my dog and I walked into the intersection. You pulled forward, and started turning left. I thought to myself, "He sees us, right?" I mean, I'm 5'7", and was wearing bright colors, and was, you know, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. I'd like to think I'm at least sightly noticeable.

Nope.

You continued turning, and I realized you were going to hit us. I yanked my dog out in front of me, and we started running through the intersection. You didn't see us until you were totally in the crosswalk, and then you slammed on the brakes. I wasn't six inches away from your window when you stopped. I got a clear look at your face, and I'm pretty sure you got a good look at me. You're a white man, most likely in your early 70's. You've got a full head of hair, some pretty distinctive eyeglasses, and an impressive set of jowls. And rather than stop to ask if I was okay, or to apologize, you gunned the motor, and sped off.

You weren't fast enough. I got your plate number. I spoke to three people that witnessed your actions, all of whom were kind enough to give me their names and contact info. I have spoken to the police. Hopefully, they will make a call on you, and convince you to give up your license. You nearly ran me over, in broad daylight. You weren't looking where you were going, you weren't being diligent in checking your surroundings before making that turn, and worst of all, you were less concerned about the person you nearly hit, than you were about yourself. You don't belong on the road - you're a hazard.

Fawn Colored Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso, Male

I saw a male, beige colored dog this morning. He was either a Shih Tzu or Lhasa Apso (similar). He was marking his territory everywhere. Spotted on Hawthorne Drive near Kew @ 8:10am. I tried to get him to come to me but he freaked out and ran towards Kew. He appeared to have a black color on.

To the kid who stole a girls purse as she was walking just remember karma comes full tilt. To the girl, I'm sorry that when I caught the kid ditching the purse I couldn't spin my car around fast enough and returned it empty. From what your friend or sibling said you were leaving on vacation I hope that you can still enjoy it. You kept asking how someone could do such a thing, unfortunately some times bad things happen to good people.
