Spotted: Windsor Family Market at the corner of Mercer and Wyandotte downtown. I haven't bought my veggies and fruit from anywhere else after I discovered this market. I just got home with enough veggies and fruit for 2+ weeks for under $15. I would have paid closer to $40+ if I went to Food Basics or FreshCo which are the only other grocery stores nearby (as far as I know).

The staff are friendly and helpful. I've never waited longer than 2 minutes in line to pay for my items. Love this market!

I've found a young female calico vet says she's around two she's very friendly and loves to be petted she's missing the tip of one ear if you are her family or know where she belongs please let me know I want to get her home safely

I found this cat around heritage drive. It was crying and following my sister and I home so we gave it food and water. The cat was clearly starving and ate a couple of bowls of food. It is still on our porch. Unfortunately, we cannot take the cat inside, as we have other animals that may not get along with him/ her!

A very rare turtle has been lost. He got out of the back yard and a neighbour thought he was a regular aquatic turtle so dropped him off by a pond. However this is a very rare turtle and a beloved family pet. He is vegetarian and does not belong in the water. He has been with this family for many many years. The original woman that brought him into canada many many years ago recently passed away and this turtle was her most cherished possession. He was dropped at mcHugh and Florence by Wfcu centre. There is a pond u can see from the road....across the street there is another pond that is by the trail. That's where he was dropped off at. He was spotted on Tuesday by John's pond. To the most likely drunk driver who hit both my parked vehicles (left some extensive damage on both) on Westminster road Friday night without having the decency or courage to leave a note or try to contact me I think you are a low life piece of dirt. Why should I have to have to pay to get my vehicles fixed because you are a horrible driver who shouldn't have a license? I really hope the same thing happens to you and worse. KARMA!

I was in my car driving on Ojibway parkway just behind Ojibway and seen a couple of ladies riding horses by the train tracks, anyway it was just very cool to see that !

On Monday September 1st, I was at the Zehrs on Lauzon Parkway and Tecumseh rd. When I seen this woman with these 2 children ( approx ages of 4 and 7). I was at the deli counter when she started screaming at these children and proceeded to lift the 4 year old up by one arm and drag her to the cart, picking her up and slamming her into the cart. She then grabbed the seven year old and was screaming and making a scene and pushed her against the cart. Now it is not my place to tell some one how to raise there children so i didnt say anything to her. But after she left I was told by the deli clerk that these were not her children and that she was only the babysitter. I then followed her around the store and more happened then what I have stated above but I would like to discuss the remainder with of this with the parents. Please everyone share this post and if the parents see it please comment and I will be in contact with you. My heart was broken and this woman needs to be stopped.

The original poster wanted to let everyone know of the following two things.

The lady was confronted and warned about the fact the police were being notified.
The police were notified and have the vehicle license plate number. They have enough information to confront the woman.

Found a Health card for Abigal Winter/ Winters at Ardene Windsor Crossings today. Turned it in to cashier who put it in a drawer.
