Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
A very kind customer came in to the LCBO on Lauzon Parkway and brought in flower bouquets for all the female employees in our store. There were a few extra bouquets so he randomly gave them to our customers. Then he paid for my customers order because he helped him with the box of flowers on his way in. TOM you have been spotted and you put a lot of smiles on our staff and customers faces today !!! Thank you !!

to the man who zoomed PAST the school bus just as my daughter was approaching the steps, shame on you.... i ran out into the street waving my arms, telling her to hurry and get on the bus, you didn't even slow down, didn't even hear the bus driver's loud beeping or all the other cars that were beeping surrounding you... finally stopping AFTER you passed his bus stop light, i ran in front of your car and grabbed the license plate for the bus driver.... "sorry, sorry, sorry i didn't know", don't worry, the police will be informing you since you didn't know, they have been contacted
To the 3 cars that flew by my son's school bus this morning at Howard and Hannah, while the red flashing lights were on AND the guard on the front was extended! You've been spotted. One in a white SUV with a woman driver, who gave me the dirtiest look after the bus driver honked the horn to get your attention, and the guy in the grey car behind her, who swerved around the bus, WHILE THE LIGHTS WERE STILL ON!! There are little children getting on and off these buses and the lights are to get you to stop to protect their safety getting on and off the bus!! Next time I will be taking plate numbers and reporting you!!!!!
My daughter started JK at AV Graham this week. She was having a rough morning & started to cry when I dropped her off. Without anyone telling her to, a little blonde girl came over & held her hand. She looked a little older, maybe SK. She didn't say a word. She just smiled at my daughter & held her hand. It helped calm my daughter & she stopped crying. This little girl must have great parents that have taught her at such a young age to have kindness & compassion & to recognize when somebody could use a little kindness. After school I asked my daughter what the girls name was, but she didn't know. Little girl you have been spotted !
I'd like to spot a few people today!
First off I'd like to say my day started by trying to figure out he bus system in Windsor, I don't take the bus ever, I usually have a car. I figured out that to get from point A to point B would roughly take about 1.5 hours with a 40 min. layover at the mall for each way. We left at 2, as I was waiting a the corner of Cabana and Longfellow, a lady offered myself and my 2 young children an umbrella (we were already drenched before we even go to our first stop. After getting off the 7 at Devonshire another woman offered me a dry shirt to have to wipe off my kids and keep them warmer. I made it all the way to our appointment to find out my child's doctor had MOVED and didn't tell us when I made the appointment with them yesterday. Where did they move? 5 minutes away from my house. Anyways, we hopped on the next 1A bus back to Devonshire around 330. The bus driver was super nice and very helpful helping me get my kids and stroller out of the rain and when we got back on the 7 I had lost my transfer and the bus driver not only told me it was ok as I was looking everywhere he made sure that I got off as close to my street as possible!
So I want to say thank you to everyone who has brightened our rainy day so much that it put a smile on my face as I was drenched from he down pour and me and my oldest embraced the rain on our last stretch home jumping in puddles as my youngest slept in her stroller with he umbrella sheltering her from the damp!
You all have been spotted!
Our dog is lost. He is a very important part of this family and we need him back. List in the parkview area in riverside. His name is Tugg.
