Today as I was walking to get my daughter at school, a complete stranger pulled up beside me in a navy SUV and handed me a bouquet of carnations.
I was walking to the corner store the other day by Howard & Erie and I came across this written on the ground. It's a clear cry for help from a young child, seems like the kid could really use some right now. I never got the chance to see him doing it, just seen the writing on the sidewalk afterwards. I thought I'd share these pics and this post in case someone might know the child, his parents, the brother hes been looking for, or even just to help the kid in any way possible. I would hate to see something bad happen, because he had nobody there for him. I think his facebook is "Johnny Fisher Brake" but I never sent a msg and thought I'd let someone with a little more experience try to contact him and give him the help he needs. Thank you.
I called Metro at Banwell & Tecumseh today and was pleasently surprised by the service I recieved from Anne Marie in the Bakery. I was ordering a birthday cake for a co-worker and had the best conversation with this lovely woman working at Metro! She not only brightened my day with her good mood but also the girls working with me that were within earshot. She was so pleasant and I was happy to have her answer my call. Thanks Anne Marie at Metro!!! You've been SPOTTED!!! I hope your manager sees this and recognizes you in front of all your co-workers! You deserve it!
Sometimes I think that people just need the recognition they deserve. It's easy to point out people's flaws, or degrade people or complain about others...
But it's so hard for people now a days to be positive. Today i need to spot someone who is genuinely one of the kindest most sincere people that I've ever met... His name is Eddie, and I don't know his last name but he works @ The Freshco on Tec/ Rivard. He works in the vegetable department(I believe), and must live in the area, as I always see him walking in the neighbourhood. I am a middle aged woman and my husband and I frequent this store on a daily basis, and sometimes a couple times a day, and have been shopping there for years. Eddie is always hard at work but never misses a beat when it comes to smiling and greeting us and many others as they walk thru the doors. He has never hesitated if we needed help with a product or even retrieving something maybe a little fresher from the back if we inquire about it. He definitley goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. We have come to know him well and see him in and around the store with his children, whom he dotes on! We always look forward to hearing stories about his kids. So thank you Eddie for being a such a sweetheart to your customers and a down to earth person. Our conversations have at times turned a bad day better!! Never Change! Windsor and the world need more people like you in it!!!
People! This time of year especially, I cannot stress how important it is to keep animals in your mind, and in your heart. The Windsor-Essex county humane society has over a hundred animals ready to be picked up and loved by you!

Adopt your next pet! You won't be sorry!
As a tenant living here, I would like to express my gratitude to the others in the building who step up to clean up around the building when management does nothing!! It's sad the recycling hasn't been put to the curb in over a month! It was overflowing so bad that it had to be put in garbage cans. A note was written to the collectors in hopes they would use the extra muscle to lift the garbage cans. If they do, then our many thanks go out to you!!
I guess this is a combination good and bad spotted!
GET A GRIP MANAGEMENT!!!
Spotted : To Jay who helped me out this morning. I was driving down Riverside Drive and I ended up with a flat. I pulled over and this guy stopped right away and noticed I had a flat. Without any concern he got everything out and changed my flat and even after offering some money he declined and said no thank you. I was so worried about the possibility of a car coming to close and injuring him but he said he was fine. Thanks again Jay and I hope you see this to know you have been spotted for being a great guy! #Flattire #Riverside #Randomactofkindness #SpottedinWindsor
