Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the lady today at Baskin Robbins who gave my daughter $3 for her next ice cream, thank you for showing her how good people can be! From the bottom of my heart I thank you and promise to pay it forward. You made my day!!!!
To the guy in the big black pickup truck driving on Somme at the corner of Arthur rd: You attempted to do a rolling stop at the stop sign as I was going through the intersection. You scared the crap out of me then stuck hand out your window to flip me off. You had a stop sign and I didn't. How dare you flip me off when you were the one in the wrong. Learn how to drive or stay off the roads.
Sincerely, the girl in the red cavalier.
To the crossing guards at St Christopher school.. I spotted you at lunch recruiting a couple students to help you clean up the garbage flying around your corner. You and your wife know all the kids names and are always happy. Thank you for being great crossing guards and showing the kids to care about their environment.
To all the consumers of Windsor/ Essex county. Working a retail job, I never hear the end of how "this is an emergency purchase, I'd much rather buy in the US." Then proceeding to tell me how terrible everything is in our current economy. Why are US prices good? Yes, the dollar is one reason. Canadian prices suck because you don't spend here. No jobs for your kids? You don't spend your money here, therefore it can't aid in economic growth!! Bottom line is, you want to keep your town in business? Keep your business in town. Otherwise things will never change.
This genius decided to cut off a 15 ton truck at central and grand Marias only to then give the finger and threats great driving skills
I participated in the Home and School Association Meet the Trustee Candidates Night recently. I am running for Public School Trustee in Kingsville/ Essex. During my speech I referred to myself as something like being just a parent. On my way out I had a beautiful lady come up to me and tell me that I should never ever refer to myself again as being just a parent! She said that people like me are valuable assets and I should never think of myself that way. I want to thank her for going out of her way to stop me and say this to me. She didn't have to but she did. It means the world to me that she took that time to give me that advice. So the moral of my story is if you have something positive you want someone to know please tell them. It may just change their life!!!!!!!!! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for that boost of confidence to move forward with my campaign.
