Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I am posting this on behalf of a friend of mine that really stepped up for a young boy being beat up by some bullies. Here is her story:
So as I'm driving down Tecumseh this afternoon I'm stopped at a red light and see a group of little boys surrounding this other little boy on the ground kicking him repeatedly so I pull over and get out of the car and ask them what their doing and to stop as the one little boy replies with "shut up old lady get back in your car" mind you these kids were no older then 10 or 11...so I push through the little crowd of kids and I help up the little boy on the ground who has a fat bloody lip and I ask him if he knows his house number so we can call and get him a ride home but poor little guy just moved and he didn't know the new number yet I've never seen a child so scared so I put him in my car and brought him home to a
Mother that was thankful I stopped to help her son and disgusted at how cruel little kids are.....some parents need to get control of their children...
I'm hoping someone out there found a small card holder. It would have been dropped on Cabana east of Howard but before the school. The credit cards have been cancelled but I'd love to have my other cards back like Costco and Optimum. They are of no value to anybody but me.
If you come across these items in your travels, please post and include the best way to reach out to you.
Thanks!
Right on Ouelette and hannah.. Thanks for stealing the bike that was locked up on the stair railing! Apparently you needed it more than we did, even if it's pedal was broken in half! Also, thank you for leaving just the chopped up lock. What an a$$hole, desperate for a broken bike!
To the lady with the little girl Friday morning at this store. As I waited in line I talked with you explaining I had just spent the last 14 hour in the emergency department at Met Hospital receiving treatment. You where so kind as to buy my coffee and breakfast . I was so touched by your thoughtfulness I passed in on to the next customer who explained she was on her way to the hospital to see her husband The thought of someone doing this shows still shows people in Windsor have a heart #randomactofkindness #spottedinwindsor
Thank you to the person in the White Murano in front of me at the McDonalds on Walker Road by Best Buy for purchasing my tea this morning. It was a surprise and very much appreciated. I paid it forward right away to the person that was behind me in line. Just wanted you to know you have been spotted for such a wonderful gesture.

To the beautiful woman I seen Monday morning at Hotel Dieu Hospital that was doing the many acts of kindness just because, you are amazing! Too bad there weren't more like you! Not only did you make me smile, your generosity gave me goosebumps! The huge basket of flowers for the elderly on the 8th floor, paying for peoples parking in meters that were about to expire, giving out gas cards and taping "FOR YOU" envelopes with such kind words to many different places throughout Windsor, and all in one day just to challenge yourself! I can not tell you how much you've warmed my heart! Thank you for that!
