Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
As i am typing this tears are rolling down my eyes. I always read the spotted articles of people paying it forward and not in a million years did i think it would happen to me. This morning i woke up wondering how i was going to make it tru the month after paying rent and utilities being left with a few dollars. So i went to the pawnshop and tried to sell a few ps3 games but instead pawn a ring and watch. As i was going towards my car the guy who opened the door for me and my little guy came towards me and handed me a Walt mart gift card. I guess he noticed that i needed the help. Well needless to say i started bawling as nothing like this has ever happened to me. Onto Wal-Mart i went to get a few things and guess who i bump into, yes the same guy. Long story short he said he was heading home but as he passed walt mart he had a feeling that he needed to go in. He paid for my groceries plus gave me all the junk food he had in his cart. As he is blessed for having his own business he said he likes to help others. Greg, you just dont know how much i appreciate everything you did for me and my kids today. I was blessed to bump into you. Thank you and your family and God bless you and your wife and congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your second baby.
I wanted to give recognition to a G4S employee who works at the downtown TD Branch (Ouellette & Pitt), Jeff Joyes. Anyone who Banks there regularly will agree that he is very kind hearted, always has a smile on his face and provides exceptional customer service. I work on the second floor of that building so I see Jeff every day and not once have I seen him in a bad mood. His great mood is often contagious. What pushed me to write this post was that I saw him run in the rain to hail a cab for an elderly customer and her to the cab while he held on to his arm to ensure she got in safely. That is not part of his job description however I see him do good deeds like these on a daily basis.

Hi Im a single mother of 7 beautiful smart girls ages 16 14 11 9 6 5 and 4.I just moved to Tecumseh from Windsor and was lucky enough last year to get sponsorship threw my children's previous school. The school they now attend does not offer any type of sponsorship. Iam on a limited budget and do not receive baby bonus right now or child support. I'm looking for a private donor or association in Tecumseh area to sponsor my family this year. I have tried sparkys but because iam in Tecumseh they are not able to help my family...if anyone knows where I may be able to receive some help or would like to sponsor my family..please email bailxo32@gmail.com thank you and god bless everyone this season
Found this cat downtown Windsor near Dougall and Park. I could hear the cat crying outside so I went to check it out and the cat came right up. Seems to be someone's pet (is litter trained, super friendly with people, and gets along with my other animals). Not too sure if it's a girl or boy. If this is your cat or someone's you know please call me at 226-246-6465.
To the girl who hit my friends cat a couple months ago, Thank you for being such an upstanding citizen. Not only did you speed around the corner, scaring my friends cat who ran out of the house for the first time ever, onto the road, but you hit him so hard he tumbled under you car. Her Husband had to chase you down to stop you. You then transported him, and the cat to Lauzon Vet Hospital where they had to put him down. At first you left, and then came back with your moms credit card to pay for the cremation. Little did they know, without mention to my friend and their family (you had their number to contact them and everything) that you called in the next day to to cancel the payment for said cremation. Lauzon Animal Hospital held on to the body of their cat for 30 days, when no one had paid for the cremation (because you were too much of a horrible person to inform my friend who would have never not claimed him, he was their family member) he was sent to communal cremation on her birthday, where his remains were discarded. So he was thrown away on her birthday. They would have paid any amount of money to get him back, but you took that away from them. Thank you very much for being an awesome person.
