Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I was DT today taking my daughter to the clinic for a ear infection . I recieved a ride from a friend there but had to bus home no big deal. Well that turned out to be wrong I put my already crazy $2.75 bus fair in and the driver asked how old is your daughter I said five she so ignorantly points to the sign and says five and up pay I said are you serious she's 5 and sits on my lap she says get off the bus then....k its really cold and I only have to go from here Ouellette ave to Campbell road and only have twenty dollar bills my daughter is sick and I'd like to get home the driver tells me to get off the bus or she will call the cops.....now the good part to the amazing lady in the redwings jacket on the c2 around 230 Nov 18 going west you rock not only did you stand up for me and say something you gave what looked like your last bus ticket to me so my daughter and I could get home warm and you gave her some candy to cheer her up because she was upset she was so cold and sick once again thank you hope you see this.......to the bus driver of Transit Windsor you are a horrible person with no heart its not like I'm some junkie trying to board for free I paid my fair and wasn't aware I had to pay for my 5 year old maybe you could of understood that seeing as it was freezing outside and my kid was already sick karmas a bi%$h you've been spotted
I would like to send a huge thank you to the young man who helped me get into my Escape tonight after working all day, stopped at the Pioneer station on Jefferson this evening on my way home from work, decided to leave my Escape running, with no worries as I have the clicker to unlock and lock. With it being so cold out thought it was better to leave the vehicle running and warm, it was locked all I needed was my wallet which I took into the store, big surprise when I came back out and realized the clicker doesn't work if the vehicle is running, with my purse and the extra key for such an emergency like this. Went back into the store explain to both clerks the problem, one said oh your battery in the clicker is probably dead, don't think so work ten minutes before, to make a long story short, the younger of the two told me he was just finishing his shift, that he was going to run home get a coat hanger and he would be right back to get me into my running vehicle. Big thanks and a hats off to you young man, I'm so sorry I didn't get your name, like I told u I will see u on Friday(payday for me) with a token of my appreciation, your parents should be proud of u, koodoos to you and god bless.
Thanks to the guy in the black car (well I think it was black) who brought our black lab back, we appreciate it very much, if I had money on me I would have handed you some cash, your a nice guy man, I hope Cooper didn't give you to hard of a time, again thank you
To the man in front of me at the bank, nothing gives you the right to be so rude to the tellers, what makes you think you are that entitled? Waiting in line for 3 minutes did not justify the immaturity of your behaviour, yelling and swearing at her...really? Next time I witness this behaviour, 911 will be called. Not appropriate coming from an adult.
To the lady( Marilyn ) working at the jewelry counter at Walmart on Dougal Rd, you went above and beyond helping me with my watch today( which had stopped working. ) For this I thank you, you totally made my day. You see both of my parents passed away in the past year and i'm feeling a little down this Christmas season. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and warmed my heart, so THANK YOU & lt;3 =)
I guess this is how awesome people park, they are so important that they need to take up two spots
I know when you're texting and driving.
Seriously, no one looks down at their crotch and smiles.
Sincerely,
Concerned
