Rude people showing true colors while in line at Tim Hortons

I really hope these ladies see this hoping they realize how wrong they were.

A friend of mine was working at the craft show inside the WFCU today. She left her post and went to get a coffee at the Tim Horton's inside the arena. She was standing in the HUGE line and pulled out her lipstick to touch it up. A pair of women a few people behind her, likely a mother in her 40s and daughter in her 30s started saying terrible things about my friend to each other. They were talking low, but she has amazing hearing and heard every word. They said the lipstick was a waste of time, and my friend is still ugly. They joked about how she's fat and hoped she wasn't in line for doughnuts. They said that they felt bad for whatever man has to "claim" her" and they didn't stop there. My friend wanted to let them know that she heard everything that they said, but she was embarrassed, figuring other people probably heard them as well...

I have something that I want to say to these two women. SHAME ON YOU. You are terrible excuses for human beings. If you are, in fact, mother and daughter, then even more shame on mom. What a disgusting example to set for your daughter. My friend does not deserve to be talked to like that - NO one does. But this is an absolutely beautiful young girl, who is thin and could probably USE a couple of doughnuts. She's smart, she's funny, and she's an amazing mother. On top of that? She's in a GREAT relationship with a man who was more than lucky to "claim" her and he knows it. She's a great friend and you'd be lucky to have someone of that caliber in your life. Your negativity is appalling - but we will choose to use this as a teaching moment, for now NOT to raise our kids. So for that, thank you. Outside of that, give your heads a shake, grow up, and stop being jerks.

Reminder

Did you know that you are allowed to creep up in the intersection on a green and turn left on a yellow? If not, I will remind you with a slight honk. You may choose to ignore it but giving the finger will not make the situation any better.

Two cars ahead at the drive thru

Last night our new neighbours car got broken into and some things we stolen. My husband decided to run to McDonald's on Huron Line to get them breakfast just minutes before breakfast finished. A kind person a few cars ahead paid for the entire order! That means so much to us, thank you. They woke up to some crummy stuff this morning and you helped bless them. Your kind act was greater than just paying for my husbands order.

Creepy gopro

Yesterday I went to Devonshire mall and ended up having lunch. Well this old guy was videotaping or taking photos of people. He especially was fixated on a young lady standing outside of shoppers. That is when I snapped this picture. I know it's blurry but you can still see the camera in his hand. Right after I took the photo he left. Creeper!!!!!

True love

in Windsor. . . At Anchor Cafe. . . I witnessed an elderly couple enjoying a night on the town. They ate quietly and slowly. First the husband would eat a bite or two then he would help his wife eat because there were things she could not do independently. They were an example of patience and comfort and love and acceptance - you rarely see anymore. They were at the table next to us and we shared restaurant reviews and enjoyed their pleasant company. I want to thank them for thie love they share and wish them Merry Christmas.

Excellent service

To the young red head barista guy at starbucks ouellette and university, thank you very much for fixing a honest mistake drink today. Eventhough the drink i recieved was not the intended one, you went out of your way to make it right and plus gave me a complimentary drink for next time. That really meant alot to me and helped make my day brighter.

this man I call mine ♡

Last evening my boyfriend and I were doing some Christmas shopping at Walmart (yes, this is our idea of a friday night out of the house lol). I walked up ahead of him with our 4month old son in his stroller, while my boyfriend stayed behind me; still looking at the toys, or so I had thought. It had been a minute or two when i decided to turn back and see what was taking him so long. When I had seen him hand something to a young boy (maybe 4/ 5years old) and walk away. I hurried up to him to see what was going on. (as a mother I would be worried with my son talking to a stranger) When he told me that he had overheard the young boy who was out with his grandmother, say that he'd love a certain toy for Christmas but that his grandmother had told him not to get his hopes up. She told him she'd love to get it for him but she just wasn't abĺe to do it financially. Now without him even telling me; I knew exactly what he had done. All I had to say was "how much?". And he just smirked in response. Mind you, this wasn't anything expensive at all, but we do have 4 boys ourselves to buy for and with myself on maternity leave; we are on a limited income also. Now I tell you, the smile on that little boys face was worth going without something ourselves. And the smile on my boyfriends face was just as big. I think it had made his day just as much as the little boys!
This ladies n gentleman; this heart of his is the reason I fell in love with him years ago. And how he makes me fall for him over and over again. You have been spotted, my kind hearted boyfriend ♡ forever baby
