Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I found a beautiful silk scarf in the Sears parking lot today (Fri. Dec. 5th, 2014) At around 2pm. It is very beautiful and I'm sure the owner is missing it right now. If you have lost this scarf please leave a description of it and I'll be happy to return it. Thank you. :)
After moving to the eastend of Town, I dont really knowhow to get around much other then my boyfriend is driving me. I haven't taken a bus since I was 14 - and it was always just a teenybopper going back and forth to the mall with my friends at that age where you never want your parents driving you anymore. Well, I was quite nervous and had to get all the way to the Westend of town for a few errands and my boyfriend always drives but conveniently the car decided to die out the day before which couldnt have already come at a worse time with the death of a loved one that same day as well. As I dont really like to open up much or ask for help, I walked to the bus depot at Tecumseh Mall as I figured out the Crossdown 2 would eventually take me to at some point where I needed to go. The bus was already there and after mustering up enough courage to ask a woman standing close to the bus, I asked if this was even the bus I should be taking and if I need to switch at any point. She was extremely nice. Her name was Tracy. She explained everything to me and where to even get off and what to look for so I knew when I was close. This made me feel a tinier bit at ease. When the driver came back to start his route I let the few people that had gathered behind me go ahead of me still as I was still once again trying to not be so insanely shy so I could even also ask the driver aswell. Then a man whos name imdidnt catch also assured me I was good to go and wouldnt get lost. I suffer from extreme aniexty the last while, so this simple task to most was making me want to have a full on panic attack. When on the bus the girl, Tracy sat and chatttedwith me and made me feel much more comfortable. Once she got to her stop..and had to..I thanked her and wished her a Merry Christmas and hoped she had a good day at work. But, once I was alone I kinda felt panicy all over again. The man who also had reassured me in the beginning went to get off a few stops after her. He came up to me first, and asked if I knew what to do now. I lied and said yes, he obviously noticed my hesitance and before he got off he whispered something to the driver and winked at me as he walked off. Once my stop was coming up the driver called me over and told me exactly where to go when coming back, pointed on where to wait and everything. I appreciated that so much. I had so much on my mind and with being alone for the first time in days, and being able to think about the death of my grandmother ontop of being insanely anxious and.embarrassed because at 27 I still didnt know which bus to even take or get off ect. So thank you - to the 3 of you who made something that yes, should have been easy to begin with - actually easy for me. Its been a rough couple days, and it was just so.nice to be looked out for when I was too shy to speak up on my own. Thank you - and I hope the 3 of you have a wonderful christmas..which im.pretty sure I said to youguys atleast 50 times. ♡
To the lady who paid for my gas today at the 7/ 11 on Wyandotte, thank you so much! I was so tired that I didn't realize I was trying to use the wrong card to pay, when I ran out to grab the right debit card I noticed that you had already prepaid for $20. THANK YOU, I definitely paid it forward right after that :)

HELP LOST CAT
I moved from Ottawa to Windsor last night. My precious Satchie, a female DSH brown tabby, got out of the motel room we were staying at. She is spayed but not microchipped. We spotted her under a porch in a house nearby but she got away and into an empty field. PLEASE IF YOU KNOW CAT RESCUERS IN WINDSOR, ONTARIO, PASS ALONG THIS MESSAGE. We need help retrieving her as she's not coming to my call. Plus I am disabled and need aid for walking.
She escaped from the Royal Windsor Inn & Suites 2100 Huron Church Rd. Windsor, ON N9C 2L5. Email: summer.solstice.girl@gmail.com. Phone number: 613-882-5837. But since that is still an Ottawa number, email is the best way to reach me.
She's been missing for more than 20 hours now
My Chevy Cruze was stolen this week from my driveway in East windsor. It is a charcoal colour..license plate is 535 LKN. If anyone has seen it, can you please comment and let me know where. This is an awful thing to have happened to me and I appreciate any help!
To the very handsome gentleman I stood in line with Saturday Nov 29th at Zehrs Dougall Rd. Thank you for making a overly busy line up so much more enjoyable. Wish I hadn't been so shy. Perhaps I would have asked you out for coffee. & #128512;
