Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This week a new kid came to my daughters school. When her class came in she noticed this new boy and got up from her seat to sit next to him.She sat next to him, introduced herself and asked his name. I am so proud of this little girl who I call my own! Some or maybe most of us could learn from my little girl... Something so small could mean so much to someone even a simple hello! I am just so proud of her I want to shout it from the roof tops! Baby girl mommy loves you and is so happy of the person u are becoming!
I saw two dogs running down riverside drive , one black and one brown , i tired to get them because i saw that they had tags ! but they were way to fasst for me i followed them till i couldnt find them anymore but if you were looking for them the last i saw them was behind the CAS building , hopefully whoever lost these beautiful dogs finds them!!!

Tonight my car died on the corner of Howard and Eugenie. As I was sitting there trying to contact loved ones for help, a random guy stopped and asked if I was okay. He parked his car on the side of the road and helped me push my car to the side street. As we were pushing my car another guy stopped to help us push it. The second guy was trying to get my car to start and said it needed gas (stupid car... -& gt; my car does not have a gas gauge, so I had no idea what was going on, and it blew through the gas quicker than it should have) so the first guy got in his car, ran home, grabbed a gas can and gas and came back to my car. After over an hour we got my car to start back up. Once my car was up and running I thanked both of them (there isn't any words to convey how thankful I am..) and they wished me a merry christmas. I'm so incredibly thankful for their help tonight! If it wasn't for these two guys I would have been stuck in the cold at a busy intersection on my own, waiting for a tow truck and help to come! & lt;3 I don't know who they were, but I hope they see this post!! THANK YOU
to the guy at the GoodLife Fitness on Tuesday at 12AM on Tecumseh Rd with the blue shorts and gray tank top that looked like a band shirt you look exactly like Adrian Fitipaldes that you actually startled me when I first saw you
My mom is a disabled senior resident of the aubin road community. She walks with a walker and has significant mobility issues. Needless to say yard work is not something she can mange on her own. As a homeowner I can understand the concern of living near someone who can't get out and rake their leaves but was the nasty passive aggressive TYPED note you left her really necessary? The time it took you to type that letter may have been better spent helping out a senior. I understand its no ones responsibility to tidy another persons yard...but if it bothered you so much perhaps a polite conversation regarding your concerns may have been a better way to handle the situation. If you aren't a part of the solution then you are part of the problem.
I thought I would share this since it has never really stopped bugging me.
My girlfriend and I went to pick up a couch at a ladies house last year.
In doing so she left her new sunglasses behind. It was the last place we were, they were not in the car and from my recollection, I remember her taking them off and putting them on the counter.
Well a little while later my girlfriend said "on no my sunglasses - I left them at that ladies house".
So she called the lady and explained where she had left them. Long story short - the lady talked and talked and talked in circles saying they are no where to be seen and this and that. I found it rather strange that she just keep talking and talking. The conversation lasted 10 minutes. Instead of her saying "sorry they are not here" she was just going on and on about the glasses and what have you. So that kind of automatically raised my suspicion.
Well the glasses never turned up. But my gut instinct tells me that lady definitely enjoyed getting a pair of $550 dollar Tortoise coloured Tiffany Cat Eye sunglasses for free...
Now the reason this bugs me is because they were brand new. Its not everyday someone treats themselves to a nice accessory like that - especially when its costs so much. Once in a while is nice and this was that "once in a while" time.
So to the lady that is probably sporting those sunglasses if you are reading this, you know who you are and you should have acted as an honest human being.
