I was working tonight at Subway on Dougall ave. Its about 8:30 pm and we were closed . THis man keeps knocking at the door I go to the door an tell him I'm so sorry we r closed for the night. He gives me a card an says Merry Christmas. He gets back in the black s.u.v. an droves away. I did not know if I should open it . I don't know this man ... I think about it for about 10 min an I open it. There was a letter from God. In the card an a $25.00 gift card .. Who ever this man is thank you so much . you are a very kind person . As I dropped off my grandchildren today, the youngest had fallen asleep. As tonight will be a late night I did not want to wake him but instead opted to carry him into the house. He is heavy for me and it was pouring rain so I parked right in front on my son's house which is a No Parking and in front of a fire hydrant. Did I know it was illegal....yes I did. The Windsor police pulled up to ticket me while I was inside. My son went out to explain why the car was parked illegally and that I would be out in a few minutes. No ticket issued! Thank you Windsor Police and Merry Christmas! You have been spotted!

Today while i was a work ( i work at freshco). This customer's debt card was not working. This lady next in line, came up to the debt machine and told the other lady, "its christmas i will pay for your groceries, pay it forward." The lady was shocked so was I, almost made both of us cry.

Today I was out at Tecumseh mall doing some last min shopping and as I was walking by Bluenotes this adorable little girl with a Christmas hat came up to me with a flower and handed it to me and said Merry Christmas. I smiled and said thank you and asked what it was for and her father sitting on the bench with a bucket full of flowers said Just because. His other daughter was on the other side handing out flowers as well. Kudos to that man for showing those little girls the gift of giving and how a small gesture can turn someones day right around. Kudos to those sweet little girls for being so excited to give complete strangers a flower just so they could see the smiles on their faces. Merry Christmas

Today I took my nieces to help me put some smiles on random people's faces. We grabbed 2 dozen roses which were donated by Victorias Flowers and Gift Baskets. We also had 25 $5.00 Tim Hortons gift cards. We sat at the entrance and I asked them to look around and tell me who they want to give these items too. They were off, running around with a rose and gift card in their hands. Putting smiles on random people's faces. But the rewarding part for them was when a lady teared up and thanked them for making their day. My oldest niece said to me "I'm so happy because we made so many people happy. Then it started....people randomly walked up to them and had bought them some treats from the shoppers across from us. Even people they didn't get to give a rose to were still bringing them a little gift. The smiles they brought to faces was only part of it. It was a huge deal to me that they understood why we were doing this. Thank you everyone who smiled back at them and thanked them for the little gift.
