Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the driver in the white car who cut me off on Wyandotte and Moy, causing me to swerve around into the other lane, thanks for just driving off like nothing happened. You nearly hit me and my pregnant girlfriend. Luckily there were no cars in the oncoming lane. You didn't even bother to slow down or stop while I was honking at you. Pay attention before you cause an accident!
Today a lady and her family were shopping at the mall, when she took her daughter to the bath room she forgot her purse (phone wallett ids everything) went back and it was gone, so she tracked her IPhone and the phone had been tracked to near my mother inlaws house I had went over there to see what was going on and we helped her track it again, eventually after a long search in the cold we got half of her stuff back!
Signed a very happy family that are glad we could help your family! :)
Thank you to the kind woman who helped me at Walmart around 3:30 pm today. I was having some trouble standing in line while using my cane and trying to unload my items onto the conveyer. You asked me if it would be ok if you helped me. You proceeded to unload my cart onto the conveyer and you placed my purchases back into the cart ... Thank you so much for your kind gesture, you were a diamond in the rough today.
To the lady in Walmart on Tecumseh road around 6 tonight thank you so much for kind gesture. I was standing in line to cash out and realized I had left my bank card in my car. So I asked if i let you go ahead of me would you just watch my cart so I could run and grab it. As it turned out I had actually left in on my dresser at at home. I went back in as to let a employee know so they could put my items back for me and you chased me down offering to pay for what was in my cart. I didn't have much but couldn't allow you to do that.
I just wanted to say thank you for your kind heart! You made my night!!
So you have been spotted!!
Following some events on twitter, I have noticed a certain group have started to victimize one girl who I happen to know personally. I still cannot believe that cyber bullying still exists, especially when I hear about how this said "couples" friends have been harassing her. Also it should be noted that these people are over the immature high school age, but apparently haven't matured. I pray that someday they'll gain a heart and common sense, but I find that extremely unlikely. I just hope that these said friends realize that what they're doing is wrong, and how much it can negatively affect a person. Oh and also, we all know where you both work, so have fun with some friendly customer service coming your way :)
Hi all, I was hoping the spotted community could help me out with something. I would like to take my boyfriend out for a 'fancy' dinner in Windsor. Somewhere with a romantic setting and moderate prices (can be a little expensive but nothing extreme). However, I'm a picky eater and most of the places I look at have very exquisite foods like duck, beef tenderloin, fish, lamb, veil, etc. and have salad/ soups/ sides with lots of vegetables or too much stuff in them for me to enjoy. I was hoping someone knew of a place that has a more basic menu but is still very nice - no pubs/ bar and grills. TIA :)
I am hoping someone has seen this necklace. I went swimming at the Windsor International Aquatic Centre on Wednesday January 7th and I was done around 4pm. I had taken off my necklace because I didn't want to lose it in the pool but unfortunately it must have fallen out of my bag in the dressing room.
A bunch of teenage girls came in to the locker room after me. I'm assuming they were there for their swim team practice. I don't know which team this was but maybe one of them remembers seeing it or someone may know how I could contact the coach?
I called the aquatic centre, and they didn't really know for sure, but they knew that no necklace had been turned in.
If anyone has seen this necklace or knows how I could contact the team to ask if any of them remember seeing it, I would greatly appreciate it. The necklace was a gift from my husband and has great sentimental value.
