Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I bought something from work, and got cash back to buy myself lunch after working all day. Got two minutes away in my car before I realized it was gone. Quickly returned to the parking lot, parked in my normal spot, to find a car parked immediately next to my normal parking spot... Which is at the back of the lot furthest away from the store... Odd. You might not have seen me, circling my car, looking all over, for my lunch money... But I saw you, glance over, and very quickly focus your attention on your feet, as you got into your car, without a word. I hope your purchase was worth leaving me hungry, instead of doing the right thing. :(
To the lady in the white Acura on Provincial this morning at 8;30am. Please do your makeup at home, I followed you for a good 10 minutes while you applied your makeup, mascara wand out, mirror tilted to your face, while driving, in this weather. Maybe spend more time using common sense than making your face look pretty.
I really need your help. We are a new page that specializes in how to help make the world a better place without cash resources. Each weekend we hold an online challenge that donates $50.00 to charity through likes and shares. I do not have a partner this weekend and I am worried I don't have enough members to be successful. You could make so much difference. This weekend we are giving our donation to a global conservation cause to be determined by a winning participant.

I was walking down Wyandotte today around 3pm. When I got to a corner near Parent and Wyandotte I noticed a young girl crying holding a cell phone in her hand trying to dial a number. I asked her if everything was ok and she looked up from her phone and said yes, something amazing just happened. I stopped as she continued to tell me why she was crying "I was walking up and down these streets because I lost my phone and I couldn't find it anywhere. I had my dad and my sister walking up and down Wyandotte because I think I dropped it when I walked here earlier today. We were calling it but had no luck, the battery was dead likely or it got turned off. I have been walking up and down the street and random people stopped to see if I was ok and then they also started to look. This was the only way of getting my pictures because they were all on my phone. Suddenly this kid crosses the street with his mother. He has a phone in his hand and waving it yelling "I found it I found it” this mother and child walked around for 20+ minutes to help me find it, and now I have it. I was crying because I was so happy I found it. I have so many pictures of my family on it and I would have been so devastated it I had lost it forever. I offered the mother and child $50 and they declined, they wouldnt even let me give them anything except a hug."
I was so happy and crying at the sometime that someone and more than one person went out of their way to help this young lady find her phone. So to that mother and child and everyone else you have been spotted. I really hope you see this.

To the woman on Erie at 4:30pm who decided to push up her black mini van when a young lady was crossing the street at a red light and then honk & yell "real mature" when the girl was (understandably!) upset with her you were in the wrong. Pay attention and know that you looked like an idiot!
