I want to Thank the 2 ladies who helped me on Saturday February 16,2019 at The Sandbar! It was my first time there with my partner and during dinner I started choking and Joe had to do the Heimlich maneuver to save my life while he was doing that 2 ladies came to help also! I do not know their names, all I know is one was a nurse and it was her Birthday.
They took me into the bathroom until I was ok which was several minutes because I could not get that piece of Steak to move. But, after several minutes and a few threats of calling an ambulance we finally got it to move. I am so sorry I did not get to thank you properly or remember your names. Hopefully you or someone you know will see this. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for helping to save my life. I have never been so scared in my life and you 2 ladies kept me calm, held my hair back for me and all around made me feel safe! So to Joe,my hero who says he is not a hero,I love you, and to those 2 ladies and the Staff at The Sandbar Thank you very much for all that you did for me last night. Yes, we will be back but Joe said I can only eat soup LOL. So grateful to all involved in saving my life! Forever Grateful,Kathy Hunter
Someone showed up soliciting for a charity called "Campaign for Sobriety". I looked up this name and this so called charity does not exist, I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this organization or is this a scam. My feelings are this is a door to door scam. Please see the youtube videos and see if you can recognize this person as legit?
It involves Tim Horton and the roll up the rim campaign! Remember if you win a free donut or a free coffee. just the rim is ok. If you win any major prize like a $50. gift Card. You must turn in the empty cup along with a pin number located on the cup, to claim your prize. Otherwise you lose, I learned the hard way
To the green and white transport truck driving beside me at Noon on commercial blvd and ecrow THANK YOU for slamming in the breaks and laying on the horn to avoid hitting the white Volkswagen who pulled out in front of you. THANK YOU for NOT swerving I had my 3 year old and 6 week old in the car with me. Awesome reflexes and great focus. Thank you from one very grateful Mon
Yesterday at 3:50 PM, merging onto Huron Church from the Parkway. A chunk of ice fell off the transport in front of us and hit the windshield. Please. Please remember to clean off your vehicles thoroughly as this could have easily been much worse! PS- if anyone saw this reach out!
I know this may be a long shot.. I lost this diamond cross awhile ago. I'm offering a VERY Generous reward!
Sentimental value. Please, if you have seen it on someone or know of someone finding this comment below. It's very unique.
No questions asked. Just a huge reward
My family went to the Red Wings game in Detroit for my son's birthday. During the 2nd period a kid puked all over my son and I. Our jerseys, coats and sweaters. While I was in the bathroom trying to wash our coats so we would have something to wear in the cold. A nice guy sitting behind us went and bought my son a hooded sweatshirt so he would have something to wear. I never got to thank him properly and tell him how much that meant to our son and our family. So to that stranger. Thank you very much for making a bad situation a whole lot better. You have been spotted.
On feb.7th , noticed a man had fallen out of his wheelchair on the corner of Tecumseh and Howard. Another gentleman was trying to assist and as I was trying to pull over to help here comes mayor dilkins running down the street to help too. Nice to see he's a compassionate man even when the cameras aren't on.
