Lately, my life has been rather hectic and I'll be quite honest... I've been contemplating suicide. I like to take walks and recently, my walks have taken me to the pier-like area near by Walker & Sons. Today, trudging through the calf-deep snow I saw something attached to the railing of where I usually look out towards the Detroit river. It was a bouquet of flowers. I don't know what came over me, but I began to weep. Of course, this could have been for anything. A favourite place of a passed loved one or a memorial for one of the many lost souls in the river's depths – but today it felt like a reminder to me. Selfish, I know. I just needed that little reminder that no matter how hard life may get, it's worth that struggle for the ones around you. The ones you love. Of course, that's not the only reason. To whomever placed the flowers there... I am deeply sorry for your loss, but thank you.

Thank you to the various neighbours on Betts Ave that helped out with shoveling and clearing sidewalks (and for the extra help with the driveway!). There are a couple of our neighbours that need access to the sidewalks and it was so nice to see them all cleared in record time this year! It's also nice to see everyone and say more than good morning as we wave from our driveways on our way to work :)

Lost Saturday night while I was out downtown @Boom Boom Room. Would be so grateful if found and returned to me please, as this item means so much to me. It is a thick chain link bracelet, with a lock and key and there is a clock on the lock. Please if you hear or see anything about a "new" Burberry Bracelet please let me know as this item is rare and it is highly unlikely that anyone else in this area has the same one. I am hoping there are still some honest ppl out there:)

a HUGE thank you to the people that just helped me get my car off the road on meighen! I said thank you so fast , hope you know how appreciated it was! I was a little frustrated to say the least. I had no idea how I was going to get out of that spot and had even tried digging out around the car. Thanks for stopping and coming out to help.

As many of you know, From Our Hands To Yours is owned by the same owners of C.C.'s Events. It has come to our attention that there is a post on Kijiji about a show at the Fogolar Furlan Feb 21-22. The application email is ccseventswindsor@gmail.com and the mailing address is to a show promoter in London. The Fogolar is not aware of any show at their facility and the real C.C's Events shows are ONLY at the WFCU Centre. The promoter in London , The Fogolar, and C.C.'s Events have contacted the police and they are investigating.
