Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the man who physically walked up to my window at the Tim Horton's on Howard and Tecumseh and verbally assaulted me, you should be ashamed of yourself. You and the lady behind you were on the side of the road, OUT of your vehicle. I went around both of you and into the line and allowed the cars who were there before me to go first. You had no right to call me such terrible and vulgar names!! My daughter was with me and had to listen to you call me an F'n "B..." and an F'n Cu...." i sure
hope you don't kiss your loved ones with that
filthy mouth. Karma will come to you!!
Thank you to the young lady walking by who said "have a good day" . It helped make a bad situation a little better.
you to the
I would like to say thank you to the teenager who asked me if I needed help! I'm glad to c teenagers that still do things out of kindness and not expect money. You were a lifesaver, u helped with no complaints, I'm very greatful, so one more time thank u and u have been spotted.
Please shovel your snow,
When you decide not to shovel your snow or wait a few days, just think of all the Children, elderly, expectant mothers, or people with disabilities your could be inconveniencing.
Even to everyday people this is a major pain.
I had to walk 30 minutes through un-shoveled snow today, i'm less than 5 ft tall, I fell multiple times and after an 8 hr day was I very unhappy about being put through that horribleness.
Today after leaving the doctors receiving some horrible news I stopped at Timmies on Walker and wyandotte. As we all know, receiving bad news from a doctor it's just going to turn your day upside down.
Usually I go in drive thru but it was lined up so I went in. Not having the best day, while waiting for my order I noticed a certain guy (really cute) kept looking at me and I feel bad because I didn't acknowledge him with a smile or anything I just turned my head.
As I was leaving he was behind me and thanked me both times I held the door for him as we were exiting. It felt good that someone like him was kind spirited to even say thank you but on top he looked at me and smiled and said to me "have a good day".
You made my day after saying that. I felt like you lifted my spirits up even though I was down and I want to thank you for that :)
So if you see this thank you and Hope you enjoyed the rest of your day because I did.
It's actually in Belle River. I just wanted to say thank you soooo much to the person who found my wallet in the parking lot at Valumart yesterday and turned it in. I didn't even realize it was missing till today. And a big thank you to Tristan, a clerk at Valumart, who knew it was mine. God bless you both.
I would first like to thank the City of Windsor snow plow operators and the contractors working with them clearing all of this snow! Outstanding job, considering the scope of the work.
Secondly, I would like to thank the young man who was operating a front end loader from Amico in South Windsor Monday afternoon. I can't thank you enough for taking pity on me and me neighbours and clearing the 4 feet of icy, slushy heavy snow from the ends of our driveways! We had easily been out hand bombing snow for 3+ hours and you probably had saved us another 3 hours of work! Your kindness has not gone unnoticed and I will be contacting Amico to share my experience!
Thank you again!
At 8:54am this morning I was trying to get my nephews stroller unstuck from the mountain of snow on the corner of Victoria ave and Shepherd ave. As a large school bus sides wipe a parked car. It was a of white-cream coloured Chrysler. I think maybe a pt cruser. The school bus driver looked back then looked at me then drove away quickly. There were many students on the bus. As I sat there in disbelief I was able to write down your information, as well as the bus information. I called the cops to let them know what happened. I thought I would get a call from you today asking what happened but never did. How is your car? I didn't want you to come outside wonder who hit your car and took off!!. The street was plowed there was not another car who made the bus scrap the side of your car. The bus driver just made a mistake in judgment by trying to pull the bus closer to the curb. Mistakes happen, accidents happen. Hitting someone's car and taking off is not cool or fair.
