Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the girls in the red minivan at the McDonald's on Dougall at about 230 in the morning on Sunday, March 22. I sincerely hope that you were not driving drunk but by the way you were screaming and belligerently verbally assaulting everyone else in the drive through because you had to wait a few minutes for your food disgusts and worries me for your safety and everyone else's. The way you treated the other people in the drive-through and the people who work there is an abomination and makes me embarrassed for the human population. To the wonderful and positive worker (I think he was the manager on the shift?) who was at the window at the time you go dude, you handled it better than I could have imagined. I don't think-- no, I certainly would NOT have been able to deal with that girl throwing the debit machine basically at you and screaming "DID MY DEBIT CARD WORK????" At the top of her lungs. I hope those cheeseburgers where worth making complete and utter fools of yourselves... and although I am 99% sure that you were driving drunk a small part of me hopes that you weren't. I wish I could have read your license plate so I could report you before you kill someone, or yourselves.
Well out for dinner at Red Lobster tonight, me and my boyfriend were told it would be a 30 minute wait. I am on crutches right now from a sports injury, as we went to a cone to get out of the way a woman looks around the room then turns to me and says "there is a chair at the bar, you can go sit down instead of standing" as I went to sit down a helpful man pulled the chair out for me so that I could sit down more easily. Out of about 30 people in the room no one else got up to offer me a seat and no one else helped to point out the one I had missed. To these two people that offered small acts of kindness you have been spotted by one very thankful individual.
Time-lapse of the Detroit River on the first full day of Spring.
To the bartender that returned my friend's phone thank you!we accidentally left it behind under a menu and you bothered to take the time to go through your bars phone records to find our number from when we had called earlier and let us know before we got more than a few blocks away!
I would like to spot the volunteers at the Windsor Essex Humane Society! You all do an amazing job and have dedicated so much of your life to the welfare of the animals!!! I would like to especially thank Tracy, Sue, and Joanne for spending many hours a week on your free time and sometimes not free time to cover shifts and help the dogs!!! You're the best!!
From a fellow Volunteer :)
To the woman that sped away in a Black Sunfire at Shoppers about 1 hour ago with my wife's wallet. I hope KARMA will get you my poor wife lost everything in that Wallet our 2 children's health card all ID's and some cash. I know you wanted the Coach wallet but you can at least drop off all the id's in the mailbox. My wife tried to stop you and you sped away like no tomorrow. Hope next time you do something like this you get caught.
To the man who drove into to a vacant driveway, in a red vehicle, about an hour ago, near Ontario and Dawson, and released two beautiful little white dogs (poodles?)...letting them run loose, while you got back in your car and drove away, in the opposite direction...you are NOT a responsible dog owner!! I am livid!
I have several people out in the neighbourhood now searching for these precious animals. What were you thinking???
If anyone in the Brennan High School area (Raymo, Dawson, Lawrence, Ontario) sees these two sweet dogs, and I imagine they would stick together, could you please PM me as I am so worried about them. I was so upset and dumbfounded that I am still shaking.
To the idiot in the red car.....I was watching you!!!
To the gentleman at Legends at Ceasars Windsor, who paid for our three lunches, my mom, aunt and myself are very overwhelmed with your generosity. You've been spotted. Thank you doesn't seem like enough!!!
