Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the 2 WONDERFUL Samaritans who pulled over to help me today while my daughter was chocking I am eternally grateful.
I apologies that I did not get your names during the commotion but I am hoping this finds you.
To the lady who pulled over almost immediately after me.
Thank for for showing that no matter the reason people will stop to check and help.
You kind smile as the gravity as what was happening set it was very re-assuring. Thank you for staying calm and keeping me grounded *not to mention calling for the ambulance :)*
To the gentleman who appeared seconds after I started working with my daughter thank you for your calm voice and tips/ help. You had the perfect way of reassuring me that it was all going to be okay. You could see I was a wreck and did not judge just offered support and guidance.
If this does reach either of you I would love nothing more than to be able to give you a hug and a small token of appreciation.

Angus is a clawed, grey tabby who snuck out of his house on Saturday, April.11. He's an indoor cat and frightened of the outside. He lives on Riverdale near Wyandotte East in Riverside. Please help find him! His family is very worried. Thanks so much!
This morning I had to take my 3 year old to WRH-Met. I want to thank the entire x-ray department for the excellent care and making him feel like VIP for 10 minutes. He arrived excited to see his insides and I was worried he'd leave disappointed or scared. But after we left he said "Mumma, I like those people! Can we go visit them again? They are my new friends!” I hope we do not have to come back but I love the fact he thinks it's a place he can visit friends rather than be scared and never want to come back. So to the staff -Thank you for making our visit exceptional and treating my Batman like a little VIP. All of you are fantastic!
MISSING - This is Angus the much-loved cat of a dear friend of mine. He has gone missing in the Riverside area around Wyandotte and Riverdale. If you find him please contact me so we can come pick him up. My friend is heartbroken. You can either reach me by email or by facebook at this link https:/ / www.facebook.com/ cdumeah.
On Saturday I walked into a very full Mr. Meat store and while waiting to check out the specials, I must have let a line of whatever music was on, escape my lips. (I am always singing in my head but don't do it well so not out loud). This tall tattooed guy noticed (I apologize if I know you from somewhere, my memory is poor) and said something about getting down to the jam as he smiled and danced a bit. I found this to be hilarious but was a little out of it and so it probably came off more as disdain. Just wanted to say that I laughed about this all the way home. I'm not always that uptight!
This is Rufus. He has been missing since Easter Day weekend. Last seen in the Tecumseh area near Riverside Drive and Grant Ave. We live behind the Old Lakewood golf course. He is a Siamese mix, has long hair, black tail and four white mitted paws.
