Hello west end residents in the Millen/ Lena/ Dot area. Yesterday morning I found a discarded wheelchair dumped in the grass along Millen Rd, just behind the Lebel School of Arts building. It seemed odd, and is not usually the sort of refuse people dump, so I am wondering if maybe it was taken from someone's porch or yard, used for a silly little joyride, and dumped off where I found it? My grandfather was handicapped, and I know what a potential hardship this could be if it was stolen from someone who relies on it, so I would really love to find the rightful owner and see it returned. If you or someone you know has recently lost their wheelchair, please contact me or post in this thread with a general physical description of it and it's condition.....if you could provide the brand name/ company, even, or colour of the seat.....anything to help me establish that you are the rightful owner would be great. I am happy to drive it right over to the owner's home as soon as they are found. Thanks!

My phone fell out of my pocket while walking my dog the other day down kildare between Ottawa and Seneca. When I came home and tracked it I saw it had made it's way in the opposite direction to Windermere/ Richmond so I know somebody picked it up. The hubby had a craving for all you can eat wings, so we went to Gilligan's last night in Tecumseh for dinner with my sister and brother in law. The sister and my hubby both had the wings (which were awesome), and the brother in law and I each had a burger. The service was impeccable, our server Krista bent over backwards to make us happy, even going as far as offering personalized suggestions for wing sauces. Our soft drinks were kept refilled and she made us feel at home there. We WILL be back and WILL recommend this place to others! On a scale of 1-10, we rate it a 15

My dog, named Lucky, most of her life she had been groomed by a lady who always cut her everywhere due to me wanting her hair very very short. The last years of my dogs life I wanted someone to treat her better and so I called the most negotiable pricing online. When I then found Loyal Companions. Every time my dog goes there she is very happy as they take her apt right away when I call. The lady's who work there seem family oriented and care more about the dogs then the Job itself. I had to point out to everyone that they truly are the best! I have seen it myself too, everyone walks out with a smile, but they are the ones making a difference. Good job ladies!

Today while at the Windsor Allergy & Associates, I was having a not so good day and Nurse Lisa took the time to shut the door and asked and listened to what had me upset.She sat and talked and even gave me a hug.I hope she knows what that meant to me and that it made my day. She opened up her heart to me and told me a story to take my mind off what was bothering me.I hope she reads this or someone who sees this will tell her what a great person she is. She went above and beyond her job and she deserves a big raise.Thank you Nurse Lisa.
