i want to say happy mothers day first but to the lady that was in walmart on the east end that was judging my boyfriend before she knew what happen she said he is too old to be carrying and you are not going to spank him are you.. i bet you spank him at home .... the story is that my son was not listening and was taking a fit in the store for who knows what we were only in the store for 5 mins he was fine before he walked in the door so my boyfriend thought it was best to take him out of the store before it got worse and made a scene but i guess there was a scene anyways i was not there i was ahead of them! people are always quick at judging or saying things that they know nothing about

I just wanted to give a shout out of appreciation to the restaurant "A Matter of Taste" on Lauzon Rd for going above and beyond tonight.
I placed an order for take out this evening, when I got home there was a little bit of a discrepancy in our order. I phoned back and explained what I had gotten and what I had ordered; I may have not been overly nice about it either - sorry. This restaurant does not deliver, but within less then a half hour an employee from their restaurant was at my door with the correct order and then some. I've worked in customer service for a really long time which is why I tend to be a little particular; it is incredible and much appreciated to have had that matter resolved in such a manner. Thanks so much, you guys are amazing and have some of the best take out in this area!

To the two most ridiculous parents I have ever seen . I was at alexander park on riverside with my child , as I watched & smelt a girlfriend and a boyfriend smoke a joint where there were all little kids . They proceeded to smoke weed while there newborn baby was in their arms .. I'm quite embarrassed and concerned

Great big thank you to Richard, the nice guy that stopped on the side of Drouillard Rd near Seminole on Sat May 9th to help my daughter change her flat tire.. And to his little girl who was so patiently waiting for him.. It's nice to know there are such good people in this world!!

My name is Nichole and I work at the downtown tim hortons on park street. This morning one of our regulars came in and was getting a 12 coffee order and while waiting for it we were talking about the weather and I happened to mention that this weekend I have a run in london so my fingers are crossed for good weather. He asked if it was a big run I said just a 5k. I then walked away brifely to finish his order and came back and he asked me what the run supported and I said it is for ovarian cancer and he then handed me a 10 dollar bill and said here you go. I honestly cant thank this man enough for being so thoughtful and kind, what he doesnt know is that my mom passed away of ovarian cancer 17 years ago and this cause means the world to me and that 10 dollars could be the cure for it someday. So thank you so much for your generosity and kind heart, you truly made my day.
