I was traveling down Bruce Avenue in around 4 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon when I spotted two officers stopped a little girl must of been like three years old and they were chatting with her it's nice to see that the officers have time to take time out to talk to our little ones it sure did put a smile on my face

I know people usually say the City of Windsor workers etc.. don't do their jobs well or at all. I'd just like to give a shout out to the BY-LAW officers and PARKING ENFORCEMENT.
I've had to call about an abandoned house every year a few times a year. The BY-LAW officers made sure this time the work not only was done but done right. The owners usually just cut and run. No trimming no clearing. Thankfully this time it looks great.
Secondly I have had to call about people parking in an illegal spot on our road that makes it hard to enter the street. Within 1/ 2 hour of my call (twice in one week) the Commissioners came and ticketed the offender. Thank you!

Two dogs just ran through my property on Huron Church Line close to where it meets Howard avenue. I wasn't able to get a picture because they were too far by the time I got outside but one appeared to be a golden doodle or something similar (very fluffy), and the other I'm not sure on the breed but was white with lots of brown spots and patches. They wouldn't come to my boyfriend or I but they didn't seem afraid of people either.

I know my description isn't the greatest they were here and gone so quick but I'm hoping the description is good enough that someone will know where they came from.

Saturday afternoon my car stalled and wouldn't turn over as I was going to my parents house, with my 2 kids, in Tecumseh from the county.
The first time my car stalled, a very kind gentleman helped me push my car through the intersection and into the parking lot of the Esso station on manning road between Tecumseh and #3hwy. -He waitied until I got a hold of someone. I thanked him for his help, it was greatly appreciated! He even made a slight joke/ observation that "wow you got a lot of power in you to move this on your own this far! Haha".

The second time my car stalled was at the intersection of manning and Amycroft in Tecumseh.
One young man got out while the other made sure the way was clear so we could push my car into the A& W parking lot. As we crossed the intersection another gentleman who was waiting to cross with his family, ran over to help push as well.
Once parked and my sister jump started my car once again, the young man came back to make sure everything was OK with us. I must have thanked him at least a half dozen times for the push and the advise on my car!

Thank you very much! With out all of your help I would have been stuck a lot longer than I was!
I haven't seen many people who would go out of their way to help a stranger recently and all of you have made my week with you generosity and assistance in my time of need!
