Thank you.....

I just want to thank the lady in the middle of the road on Machette Saturday morning in front of the Ojibway Nature Centre protecting a snapping turtle so no one would run over it and thank you to the motorcycle driver ahead of me who stopped and moved the turtle closer to the pond.

Sunday Brunch

To the very generous lady at Caesars this morning...my boyfriend and I decided to go out for Sunday Brunch. We arrived at the Casino around 11:20am. It was the first time for me to eat at the buffet as I had worked at the Casino for a number of years, and while I was an employee I was not allowed. A lady approached us as we were preparing to pay and enter and offered to pay for one of our meals as she had a coupon/ comp. It was a wonderful surprise and very generous of her. Our meal was very good and she was right, the crepes were delicious! The entire experience was made even more enjoyable because of the generosity of a complete stranger! I will always remember my first time at the buffet. Thank you so much!!

Thank you to the young man who saw my daughter drop her Tigers hat on the way back from Art in the Park. He was sitting inside the Tim Hortons when he saw this. He actually left the restaurant, crossed the street to pick it up and then chased us down to give it back. Thank you. You truly have a great heart.

Good Ppl still here

So I went for my usual breakfast at McDonald's drive thru for a egg Mcmuffin and orange juice. As I'm about to enter the parking lot this lady had some trouble driving in with on coming traffic. I stopped my car and let her go in front of me, therefor going in front of my drive thru line. As I reached the payment window they had told me it's been fully paid by the car in front of me. Saying she was very thankful .

Honestly I couldn't be even more thankful to have people like this still in windsor who appreciate such a small deed I did for her, resulting in her paying my breakfast!

Windsor Police

I wish I was well enough to remember the police officers name. I had become very sick last week and was so dizzy I could not walk sitting on the sidewalk people passed no one helped... Thankfully a Windsor Police officer stopped to help, she was able to help me up and get me to help. Thank you!

In that much of a rush?

Yesterday around 3PM crossing the street from Tecumseh mall going to Walmart, my friend, her daughter, and myself were waiting at the light because it turned yellow. (Walking, not driving). While the light was green, an older man way ahead of us in an electric wheelchair was crossing. Well one incredibly rude BOY decided that pedestrians don't matter and he came within half a foot of hitting the man in the wheelchair when the light was green for pedestrians. This really made us mad to see, clearly this guy didn't care if the man had gotten hurt since apparently he lives his life in such a rush. Such a disrespectful driver, but we're glad the man didn't get hit.

Parking Lot Accident

This incident occurred Saturday night around 12:15am (June 7th technically). I was in front of the Tim Horton's on Tecumseh Rd, off Banwell with a few people. We heard a loud noise and noticed that a white SUV (possibly a Honda CRV) was attempting to back out of a parking spot at the Bitacola Insurance parking lot, and hit a parked black Ford Mustang. It took the SUV 3 tries to get out of the parking spot. We were guessing that the driver was possibly intoxicated, judging by the amount of room the vehicle had. The SUV immediately took off and sped away down Tecumseh Rd heading west. I attempted to get the license plate but the driver was too quick for me and might have possibly turned onto a different street. My boyfriend went to check the Mustang and it seemed to only be scratched on the bumper. I hope there is camera either on the insurance building or the Spitfire Pub. The SUV was initially parked on the east side of the lot facing the pub, where I have seen many pub patrons park in the past. I really hope you get caught!
