I was having a rough few weeks, I finally got the courage to go to the gym and hit up a hot yoga class at the Goodlife @ Tecumseh Mall. When leaving the gym I was thinking I should grab a veggie sub at subway. So I stop in the Subway near the gym (Tecumseh and Lauzon Pkwy). A few people were ahead of me and this one particular guy was ordering a sub, he said something strange when he was ordering and I shot him a look (which I feel really bad for) but he continued on, as did I. I ordered a 12-inch veggie sub with extra cheese and guac. I go to the counter to pay and the cashier informed me that the person ahead of me paid for my sub!
I was flabbergasted. Never in my life has anyone done that type of gesture for me.
I was wondering to myself that maybe he could actually feel what I was going through (because it has been ROUGH these past few weeks).
God Bless Him.
God knows I needed that at that moment.
Will definitely be paying it forward tomorrow morning.
Thank you!
Hoping there's a lucky charm of ours who found my boyfriends wallet. He lost it in the central / Pillette area on Sunday. It's a dark brown leather wallet and had his health card, sin number, id and debit card in it. No cash, but cash reward if returned. Please contact Justin Fields. Thank you and god bless
Found near Parent and Wyandotte yesterday. Please contact me with description to reclaim.
If anyone is driving, please be on the lookout for a WHITE 2008 Pontiac or the chevy equinox with probably a smashed up right side on the front end of the car and a bunch of black and red paint as I (in a red Ford Focus) was hit by a driver who drove through a red light off of central and tecumseh this morning at 6:25am and he fled the scene. if anyone has any information please contact the police or comment below. Happy Monday 😔👎🏻 such a disappointment.
Today I was leaving Costco and while waiting in the line to get out the door a lady was in a rush and was feeling entitled enough to skip the line with her only item. I called her out and told her to wait in line like everybody else. After she was done bickering about being in a rush, she agreed to get back in line but the employee told her while she was walking back in line that she already signed the receipt so she could leave but not to skip the line again. Well.. while she walking back out the door from behind me she decided it was a good idea to hit me in the back of the neck/ head with the item in her hand and muttered something that I didn't quite catch. I yelled and asked why she hit me and she shrugged and walked out to door and basically said what are you going to do about it? I gave my receipt to the person I was with and followed behind the lady who at this point was speed walking to her car so I could get a picture of her license plate. She realized what I was doing when she got in her car and gave me the most smug look I've ever seen in my life. I've been in contact with police and am currently deciding whether or not it's worth my time and energy to press charges but in the mean time.. if you see this lady cutting any lines and you feel the need to say something, I hope you have a helmet on! You've been spotted, crazy lady at costco!
This guy went on a shopping spree with a stolen wallet and many other items as he broke into many cars in Belleriver (Westwood Dr). He was seen filling up gas in Tilbury(Black 4 Dr Jeep Wrangler) He was also seen shoplifting @ shoppers drug mart with a female. Anyone that recognizes this guy please contact the Belleriver Police.
Just came back from the Pride Parade. What a wonderful and upbeat event! Happily surprised at the turnout. I'd seen on the news that the police had special rainbow vests, but didn't see a single one at the parade. Oh well, their loss! 🌈🌈🌈🌈
Thank you to the two kind hearted guys that helped my husband and family Saturday while on the boat. We are brand new boaters tonight and we decided to take my dad out for a ride. We had some pretty bad luck tonight and and experienced some good learning lessons! First off, we took my daughter tubing and it filled with water and we couldn't get the tube back on the boat. Second, we anchored in Belleriver to eat dinner and the waves started to get really rough. My husband couldn't get the anchor back into the boat as the waters were so rough. These two kind gentlemen, must of seen that we were stuck, came over to our boat in the water, helped pushed the boat out as we were beached and getting closer and closer to the dock. Thank you so much, your help was very much appreciated!
