Civic hero

So for quite sometime mow, I see a gentleman often walking up and down totten 1st and surrounding area picking up garbage and beautifying our neighbourhood. It warms my heart that this lovely man takes his time and energy to clean our streets. To David, thank you SIR!

Good people in the world!

Doing a job on Matthew Brady Blvd, and the city has the street all torn up doing sewer work. People who live down this street are forced to park blocks away close to Lauzon, and walk to their home. I saw a mother with her 3 children walking up the street, and I saw 1 city worker guiding her and her children to a safe path around the rubble. Behind her and the children was the husband carrying boxes of diapers, so that same worker goes back for the husband and helps him carry those diapers.
D'amore Construction, your company should be proud to have men like this working for you!
If you look hard enough, there are good people in this world :)

Thank You

Today was very scary, my 18 month old was having a medical emergency, not breathing & unresponsive. I ran outside my home with him and several vehicles stopped to help. Thank you. Thank you for helping while I was starting to panic. Thank you to the transit Windsor bus driver who made sure an ambulance was on it's way, and thank you to the nurse that stopped and took him from me. He is doing much better. 💙

Racist Jerk at Tims

I was visiting my friend in windsor and we went to the Tim Hortons right beside the ciociaro club. This is a location I went to all the time before I moved. My friend, me, my brother, and her 3 year old son we're sitting down having our coffee and donuts and her son became a little bit loud so we noticed there was a meeting behind us so we moved to another booth. Well a guy at the booth beside the one we moved to started cursing at my friends 3 year old son. So my friend was like is there a problem and he ignored her and started talking about how if we don't like this country we should leave. He started cursing and talking about us and our people. I have never felt so unsafe in Windsor. It's crazy. I am 3rd generation Canadian but because my friend who lived here all her life wears a hijab he felt the need to harass us. When he got up he's like Canadians have no rights anymore because of you people.

One thing I have to say is I hope you don't tell anyone that you are from Canada because you are honestly a disgrace and you will taint the name of Canadian.

Thank you to the manager who was super nice and apologized for his behaviour. It honestly left us shaken.

Also, to the guy that ran up to our car on our way out to apologize for the incident. Thank you! You demonstrated the true Canadian way.

The Lifeguards and staff at Remington Booster Pool

I want to give a HUGE shoutout and compliment to all the staff/ lifeguards at Remington Booster Pool.

On the evening of August 13th a friend and I took our daughters swimming. They both had a wonderful time and the staff were both pleasant and calm even after having to remind my friends daughter of the pool rules. At the end of our time my friends daughter had a hard time with transitioning out of the pool. This caused a scene to some. No worries the staff were ALL eager to help assist! It was amazing to see. Great job training the staff/ lifeguards city of Windsor👍🏻Treating people with special needs with the utmost respect ✊
Thank you
