Two weeks ago I ordered a cake for my sisters birthday from the superstore.
Sadly on Monday our father passed away unexpected so obviously my family is going through a lot. In attempts to make the best of my sister birthday I promised I'd still pick up her cake and we'd spend the time just the two of us trying to make sense of the loss.
I was running late with my kids and all I wanted was to get the cake and get to my sister, thankfully even with the strike going on it was promised by the store it would be ready for me.
After coming out with the cake a women picketing decided it was a good time to make me feel bad for shopping there. She was extremely rude claiming that I didn't care about the people as I was still shopping there and I needed to start showing some support. She was demeaning and continued her rant louder and louder as I walked away.
Im sorry you guys are unhappy with your employer and I wish all employees were treated better but you still had no right to be so rude to a complete stranger.


I was already on a boarder line break down and then having to listen to you pushed me over the edge.
I'm aware you don't know everyone's personal situation, but my point is there are so many other ways you could have positively gotten your point across without being so mean.

Firstly I would like thank you for not crossing the picket lines. Secondly, I work at Metro and I would like to thank all our regular customers and all the Zehrs customers for your patience, kindness and understanding. As prepared as we try to be, these few days have been a little overwhelming. You have shown 100% understanding, thanking us and smiling even when we could not provide exactly what you were looking for. We will continue to try and serve you to the best of our ability. And a shout out to Zehrs employees, stay strong!

It was a year ago July 1st that SADIE has been gone!! Please help us bring SADIE home!!!
Our beautiful SADIE went missing July 1st 2014 in the Fountain Blue area. She is 10 yrs old, extremely TIMID and has NEVER been outside!!! SADIE has very green eyes, is spayed, declawed and microchipped. She was wearing a red collar with a pink heart which has her name on the tag along with our phone 519-999-6053 or 519-999-6054. She was wearing a tear away collar so it might have been torn off if she got snagged on something. Maybe u may know of someone who has acquired a full grown cat that fits her description within the last year or less. Jennifer has been SHARING on many pages of FB since her disappearance. I'm just hoping to get her home to where she belongs to make my girlfriend happy again. NEVER say NEVER, so please help me help her. If u have any information, in box Jennifer Small.

This morning as I made my way to the downtown vet hospital with my 16yr old kitty Fuzzy, a young lady in a red car slowed down to let Fuzzy and I cross ouellette ave. There was a lot of cars behind her too. I hope you know how much that meant to me and Fuzzy too. Thank you!!!!

I want to thank the gentleman that brought burgers for the people on strike at the Superstore on Dougal. A coworker and I was by the street picketing when a gentleman asked if we want a burger. We were surprised at first, but we greatly appreciate the kindness. And I want to thank all the people who are truly supporting us. Family and friends please support us by not shopping at Superstore or Zehr's. Please shop at a unionize store like Basics, Metre and there are more like that.

On Tuesday, June 30, at approx 3:45 pm, I was involved in a terrible accident (head on collision) on hwy 3 heading west to Windsor. There were 5 cars involved and many witnesses. I was the driver in the silver dodge caravan. Wanted to thank the many wonderful people who raced over to my van to see if they could help. There were the two young women driving the Honda, who were also struck, the nurses, the firefighter from Kingsville who kept me company until help came, the responding firefighters from Essex and Kingsville, EMS responders and OPP Officer Kyle Bildfeld. I can't thank you enough for all your help and fast thinking. Many thanks!
