Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Thank you so very much to Dougal Ave Vet Hospital, I went there this evening thinking It was time to put my cat Mookie down because of not being well and other issues :( which was breaking my heart as she is my best friend and life line and I appreciate every day I wake up to sharing another awesome day with her, my tears we're louder than any words that I couldn't speak, well the very BEST Vet and Vet Tech, I have now found, refuses to put cats down if he can find a way to save them. He new that finances were an issue for me as I had just had so many things happen in the last 2 months that I didn't expect my Mookie to be sick. Dr. Khahra did many different tests on Mookie and found a way to save her for me, while making it affordable than one could even imagine. Thank you so very much from myself and Mookie and I will never forget how much dedication you put into saving Mookie this evening. These last few months have been overwhelming and would have been even more empty with out my buddy at home with me, The Cats and Dogs are lucky to have such a wonderful Vet on their side, Thank you Dr. Khahra and staff.
Saturday night between 930pm and 1030pm. I was at the Foundry downtown. I looked out the window and saw a young couple stop and talk to another young couple who were living on the streets. They talked for a few minutes and proceeded to take the two into a shwarma restaurant for a hot meal.
On Monday July 27, we were laying a sweet baby boy of a dear friend of ours to rest. As we drove in the funeral procession, we were touched as car after car pulled over. When we approached the intersection near Cabana road, there was a Enwin utility truck stopped and the crew was making repairs. When we passed the crew, the young gentleman removed his hat and nodded as a sign of respect. This deeply touched the hearts of the friends and family of this dear baby boy. It was nice to see that there are some good people left in this city. You have been spotted Enwin.
I have lost my American passport card either Sunday downtown Windsor somewhere or Monday near Devonshire mall or south Windsor. It's in a protective sleeve with a gold Starbucks card.
To the lady in the food court line behind me at Costco today who decided it would be a great idea to cut in front of me saying "I'm just getting a pop" while avoiding eye contact and a look of disgust on her face while quickly going up to pay...I understand you were just getting a pop. Congratulations. It wouldn't have been an issue had you asked politely and actually waited for a response. Next time, have some manners and wait just like every other person that was in line. My 10 month old son has more manners than you. I hope your pop spilt all over you when you left Costco.
Sincerely,
The woman who learned to wait her turn in Kindergarten

Just an FYI for everyone at the Windsor Regional Ouellette Campus, my mother's purse was stolen right out of her hospital room around 330-4 pm today!
A little background information: she's currently being treated for lung cancer, along with complications and all her chemotherapy medication, appointment times, wallet etc. were in there. Everything worth something to her has been stolen. To the scumbags who decided to pray on the sick, karma will come around and you WILL reap what you sow. Patients, families and friends keep your belongings with you at ALL times. The monetary items can be replaced but those sentimental ones can not! Beyond disappointed.
