Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the woman that found my phone at devonshire mall. Thank you so much for finding my phone and turning it in to security. You have restored my faith in humanity. I wish I could thank you personally.
Spotted a kind, selfless little girl at Street Help yesterday. She must have read in the newspaper that the air conditioning was broken and brought in 4 large boxes of Popsicles which she had purchased with her allowance. It overwhelms me the way this community responds when help is needed but this donation brought tears to my eyes. An incredibly generous act from a child. Thank you for making my day!
I was passing by the airport when I noticed many police cars and paramedics closing the road. Many teenagers were sitting on the shoulders of the road and others were walking .When I passed by the ambulance I saw a person was carried by the paramedics..Cops were talking to parents on one side of the road
I'd like to say thanks to some friendly firefighters. You saw my son looking at your firetruck today in South Windsor. You pulled up, rolled down your windows and greeted him with waves, smiles and "hey buddy!". It was just a moment out of your day, but you sure made the day for my 3 year old.
Thanks for giving him a story to tell everyone he saw today :)
Last night my motorcycle was stolen from in front of my house. It is a black 2000 Yamaha r6 black rear sets and black clip on bars. Whoever stole it is probably highly disappointed because there is nothing of value on this bike. The bike engine 79,000 km on it needs a new chain sprockets fairings. If u could could keep an eye out for this bike it would be greatly appreciated.
Just wanted to "spot" Tara who was working at the Post Office in the Shoppers Drug Mart on Banwell & Tecumseh Rd. on Friday evening. Tara was very friendly and went above and beyond to help me with a package. It's always nice to receive excellent customer service.
