Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
My friend was at Walmart on lauzon rd today and left her iPhone 5s in the shopping cart. The phone is full of pictures of her father who just recently passed away. These pictures are irreplaceable for her and her son. It is a silver iPhone 5s with a graffiti case that has a peace sign on it and says "Imagine".
Please share and help her get her pictures back. Thanks
So anyone who has a pre-schooler can sympathize that sometimes they are just going to act out, particularly when they're tired. I just wanted to say a big thank you to the kind man that helped me out this past Saturday at Zehrs on lauzon parkway. My lil girl was throwing a fit because she dropped her cookie on the floor and I refused to get her another one. We headed to the check out and there were two gentelmen in line in front of us; the one offered for us to go ahead of them. I said "no, no, you only have a few things it's alright but thanks", then in line he handed me a kinder egg while we were waiting in line and said "here you go mom". And obviously that made my lil girl happy. I've never had that "spotted" moment, no one has ever really done something sweet for me w/ out reason - thank you so much for that. Sometimes in life it's the simplest of acts that mean the most.
A balloon floated into out backyard. My son found it stuck in a tree with this note attached to it. I'm not sure where it was originally sent from but it had a note to someone who had passed away. I'd love to let them know how far it traveled. If everyone can share this in hopes it finds the original owner.
I found this amazing message to someone's siblings 23rd birthday. Please share this in hopes the person who sent the balloon off maybe finds out how far it actually traveled. Such a sweet message that my son found in a tree in our backyard.
I just want to thank all the Emergency medical people, Windsor Police Services and Windsor Fire for all their kindness and help at the motor vehicle accident on Crawford & Wyandotte Sat. Aug. 15th! THANK YOU!
Unfortunately my daughter has misplaced her camera's memory card. She had it today at Devonshire mall at around 1:00 pm. She thinks it was lost in the parking lot outside of Starbucks. When we discovered it missing ( at home ) we went back with no luck. Searched under maybe 60 vehicles and asked in customer service. If any one has come across it please message me she has some sentimental pics on there that we have learned should have been removed. & #128549;
Please pass this on, we've all been spotted
