Found Chocolate brown Chihuahua with white markings

Monday around 3 p.m. running around McHugh Drive in Windsor this little girl was spotted running in traffic. She was brought to the vet but is not microchipped we checked with the houses around the area and nobody claimed her. The Humane Society has been contacted and she's being kept safe in my homeuntil her owner can come and find her. She's very friendly and sweet and seems to be very well taken care of. Please contact the humane society if this is your little pup. She misses her home

Bad driver

Some people need to learn the difference between driving in a parking lot and the road. Today in the parking lot behind joes produce a ignorant man in a black jeep decided he should drive thru like he was on ec row as I slowly was turning out of parking lot and than proceeded to yell at me !! Really ? It's people like you that cause accidents slow down !!

A little thoughtfulness makes a difference.

On the 1C bus, and your sitting next to me as I type this. Your the first (and one of the seldom few) who has had the courtesy of giving your spot for me.
I'm younger than most who need the priority seating so when I walk on, even with the aid of my cane, I'm not given a second glance to. (Which is hard to do considering I have purple hair at the mo.)
I wanted to say a sincere thank you for your thoughtfulness. I had walked from Ottawa St. & Walker Rd. to Tecumseh Rd. for the bus I needed to get to my destination, I had been so incredibly drained from walking my 8 year old to school for Back To Schook and my Fibro was playing up with my bulged disc.
I appreciated what you did beyond words! A little gesture dpeaks thousands of words, Thank you again!
To the gentleman (about my age) with the shaved head & blue shorts (who gave up the next open seat for a friend who coincidentally hopped on the bus not long after I), You've been spotted!

Horrible Driver

Thank you to the driver who hit me on my bike today at 9:30pm as I was biking to work because he couldn't wait .1 second to get to the Timmies ( when I had the right of way).
This happened at the Tim Horton's on Lauzon and wyndotte, as I was passing the driveway he stopped waiting to turn into the driveway ( with no signal may I add) as i was about half way he decided to step on his accelerator and drive up and hit my right leg and my back tire, leaving me to have more then a few choice words and a flipped finger to him and his GF, and my leg was shaking. my adrenaline was shot. Not only did I have not 1 but 3 white lights on the front ( 1 big one and 2 small on each side, as well as a red flashing light for the back of my bike, but I even had on a safety vest to help allow drivers to see me. and still I got managed to get hit! really... (should of taken his plate down and stuff, but my adrenaline was shot and I had to get to work, I bike from forest glade to downtown)

I understand that drivers hate bikes driving on the road and I get it and people are impatient, its actually quiet sad if you ask me. I hear everyone complain about people riding bikes, and I get it, but bikers have to respect the law just as much as drivers. The law wants us to bike on the road in a bike path, but even that doesn't feel so safe for us. I couldn't even bike on the sidewalk clearly without getting hurt. I do get it, I got annoyed some days when I would drive to work and a biker would be on the road and not able to pass due to oncoming traffic, but I respected the biker as well slow down stayed far behind and passed when clear, bikers are just going where they need to go as well, why can't people respect that.
Driving down riverside drive I stuck to the sidewalks I'm sorry but I'm not taking a chance on my life or getting seriously hurt, but even sticking to the sidewalk, every driver coming out of the side roads tend not to care about the stop signs, not using common sense to look both ways before you go, I get it no one wants to do a complete stop, but even when they do a complete stop they don't take precaution to everything around them and could end up in some serious damage.

Needless to say I am okay, just frustrated and I hope that the driver has a dent in their car, kinda wanted to Hulk smash the hood of the car. =)

Drive safe and bike safe everyone, know that .1 sec of your time can save someone keep that in mind.

What Would You Expect?

Consider this for a minute. Out of thin air, a person you have and will never meet decides to donate a Kidney to you to save you and your family. It is given Anonymously, but there is a way to communicate, if wanted. If you received this gift of life, would you want to send them a note to express your thoughts? I say this because I've heard nothing from them. It did everything I expected it would do for me, such as help me feel like a contributing member of society, and feeling like I'm earning my Disability payments. It's now a shame, as I only really need one, and I don't expect to hear from the next donation recipient.

Angry Dad

To the father that was at Lilly kazillys on Saturday afternoon, you proceeded to yell, swear, at the staff because your daughter got stung by a bee. It's an outdoor patio, if you were concerned, take the kids inside, and to swear in public like that in front of your kids is disgusting. Grow up.

Superhero at the Brick

Today while shopping at the brick this afternoon, they had a hotdog stand with donations being made to help the sick kids foundation. While my son had been crying and very irritable it was time for us to leave. This young man in front of us all of a sudden makes a generous donation and turns around and hands my son a superhero teddy bear! Of course he stopped crying instantly. You made his day! You should be spotted for your kind heart and generosity to a great foundation! Thanks again and today you sir have been spotted!
