Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Lost my wallet yesterday when I had got into the truck, was almost home and had had to turn around and go back to see if it was still there. My sisters law called the store to see and thank goodness it was. Thank you to the kind person that found my wallet and returned my wallet back into Michaels craft store. You have been spotted.
My mother in law lost her wedding ring around 11:30 this morning at the Zehrs in Tecumseh. If anyone has seen it please don't hesitate to email me and let me know. It was important to her and she's very upset she's lost it. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!!
I lost my keys along Riverside between Devonshire and Lauzon. If found please email me @ craiglockhart6@hotmail.com. They have a picture of my son and a Fit 4 Less tag on it.
On Friday night while dancing at the Gourmet Emporium on Wyandotte and Chilver, my friend and I had our sweater and jacket taken from the chair. It was a long thin gray sweater and hers was a hip length coat with a fur collar. First we thought someone might have accidentally taken them, then we realized who would take 2 items of clothing. It is sad to think that people have zero respect for other peoples property.
I was at walker rd superstore around 815 and there was a lady at the front of the line, she had spent just over $225 and the cashier gave her a free ham..... she tried to tell the cashier she didnt need or eat it. Cashier told her just take it, it was free. The woman turn around to the young man behind and gave him her ham. He was so so grateful, he was speechless. He simple said thank you and you went on ur way. What a WONDERFUL KIND THING YOU HAVE DONE TONIGHT. I am so glad I could witness such a random act of kindness.God bless you.
PS: The man was still in shock when he left. I am sure he could use it for his family. He smiled all the way out of my sight. He was truly touched by you tonight, as well as myself.
I was on the crosstown 2 bus today, and as were passing a park on riverside drive somewhere near Goose Bay park I looked out the window to see a couple people out there picking up garbage. It put a smile on my face to see that people still care about our parks. Even though the weather was cold, props to you guys! you have been spotted! keep up the great work!
Sincerely, an 18 year old student amazed at the kind citizens Windsor has to offer:)

Yesterday afternoon (Oct 1.), the driver of a red F150 Platinum pickup truck tried to cause an accident with my friend and I. His lane was coming to an end; instead of merging, he came up beside us, causing my friend to go into the oncoming lane. He made his way ahead of us, slamming the brakes repeatedly trying to get us to rear-end him. When my friend switched lanes, he also switched and slammed the brakes in front of us again. At one point, he even stopped his truck in the middle of the road and get out, causing other drivers behind us to get out and tell him to move his truck. Finally, he started driving again, still slamming brakes as we went along. The police have been called with his plate #, and hopefully they did something about his road rage. Watch out for this maniac on the road.
