Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I had an appointment at a hair salon today and of course they are so very busy my appointment was behind which I had expected..I myself had made a last minute appointment....as I sat and enjoyed watching these talented hairdressers work their magic another customer so kindly left a gift certificate for me to use towards my services today...I was so very surprised and happy..I wish I could thank you in person...I hope you get to read this...so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. And Merry Christmas to you and your family :)
Well sitting in the Lumberjack Restaurant on Howard and Tecumseh. There was an elderly man sitting by himself eating his breakfast. The server came over and told him that the young couple over in the corner wanted to wish him a Merry Christmas and that his breakfast was on them. It truly warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes. In a world where there is so much negative things going on. It's good to know that there still are good hearted people in this world. Merry Christmas!!
To the nice ladies who paid for our breakfast at Uptown this morning; thank you. We just want you to know that we paid your kindness forward and paid the bill for another table before we left.
As my four children, myself and my husband were loading into our car at Walmart a woman and her son approached us with gifts for our 3 girls. I was stunned, I read about these wonderful acts of kindness all the time and to experience one is truly a blessing. The smiles, the excitement and the pure joy you gave to our family today, I cannot thank you enough. My girls are very eager to pay it forward. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year.
To the dude in the big Dodge pickup who just paid for my order at the Wyandotte and Lauzon Timmys...Thank you. I get ridiculously competitive in those drive thrus that split into two lanes and I'm sure you could see me scowling at you in your rear-view mirror after you "cut" and got ahead of me. Your order took less time than mine so of course you had to proceed forward. I am an idiot and I apologize. I want you to know that I paid for the nice man behind me who had originally let you in the long lineup. Merry Christmas to you and your family (and the nice man too)
To the woman in the Equinox who just zoomed through the JYSK parking lot to snab a handicapp spot, you should be ashamed of yourself. Not only did you cut through spaces completely uncaring about the other cars in the lot, but you took a clearly marked handicapp spot. I dont care that the spots were empty or that the store was not yet busy, these spots are reserved for people who have a valid handicapp sticker in their window for a reason. Not only did you not have a permit, but when you hopped out of your car, you looked quite able bodied. Just unreal how inconsiderate people can be, escpecially on christmas eve. Merry Christmas.
I just wanted to thank the man in the pick up truck that came to my door (in Lucerne Estates) with a basket of chocolates and wine today. It definitely brighten my day after being with my 3 year old and 8 month old twins who were having a bad day. Merry Christmas to you sir.
I just wanted to spot each and everyone of my clients I work for. They are all such great people and it makes my job so much easier! My partner and I love the positive feedback and thanks you give us and that usually helps keep us going especially when we are very busy and tired. It's such a great feeling to be appreciated and I think everyone could use a little more of this.
We work in the LaSalle area and around Windsor crossing area and you should all know how much you're also appreciated! Working with flexible and easy going people just makes life so much simpler!
