Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
My husband had a stroke a few days ago while driving. He was having a hard time pulling over. Thankfully there was a young woman driving beside him that noticed that something was wrong and that he was struggling. She was able to help him pull off to the side of the road safely. This young woman was honestly an angel in disguise. She stayed with him until an ambulance arrived and even followed him to the hospital to make sure that he was okay. I really want to thank this lovely woman in person. She probably saved my husbands life. Her name was Keyanna (not quite sure of the correct spelling) and she was wearing a Shukra uniform. Please share this post in hopes that she may see it. I know my husband would love to thank her as well.
To the guy working at Taco Bell In East Park Plaza around 3:20 pm:
You are SO GOOD at your job!
I asked for a lot of hot sauce as I'm disappointingly used to receiving only 1 pkg per taco, and boy did you deliver the goods!
You are here by pronounced the King of Hot Sauce!
Thank you :)
Thank you to the kind woman in the red Jeep at the Tim Horton's on Jefferson for paying for my coffee on November 22nd. Your act of kindness sparked some much needed joy.
I'd just like everyone to know there's a stalker on here and in the city. They saw one of my comments, viewed my picture which was taken at work with another associate/ friend and they went to every place in the city until they found the coworker. Extremely creepy
I wanted to give a shout out to Met ER, Nurses and Doctors late Sunday night for giving me the best of care. I managed to drive myself to the ER with what I found out to be a very critical situation. I got a very polite lecture saying I should've called an ambulance but didnt because I didn't have the funds to pay for the ambulance and honestly, complete embarrassment. Having said that, after triage and registration I waited a total of 8 mins in the waiting room. They greeted me with a wheelchair and rushed me in a bed. I had 3 nurses, ER doctor, a specialist and tests quickly working on me to control the situation. Twelve hours later after vitals were stabilized and situation was controlled I could go home with strict instructions and follow up care. I commend the hospital and everyone involved. They were compassionate, knowledgeable, precise, decreet and treated me like I was a member of their family. I get emotional thinking about it every day and how this could've turned out differently had it not been for the standard of care I received. Kudos to MET HOSPITAL ❤
I felt the need to bring attention to the rude blonde women who felt her time was more valuable than the rest of us when she decided to cut in front of me at the check out in Costco this afternoon ,and when asked politely to go to the back of the line, you then proceeded to call me names and attempt to intimidate me. I couldn't help but notice the kids toys in your cart, I certainly hope you set a better example for them, I couldn't imagine calling a total stranger the names you called me. I was in total shock, the holidays are coming, if you are that impatient and disrespectful maybe try online shopping 🤷♀️
I want to give a huge thank you to the staff at Bracks' Animal Hospital. I brought a friend in today to say goodbye to her sweet cat. The staff were so amazing. The doctor ( I did not get his name) was so gentle and kind and made her sad day much easier for her. Thank you all ,you are the best.
